Jenelle Evans’ Ex Claims the ‘Teen Mom’ Star Let Her Unlicensed Teen Son Jace Drive Her When She Was Allegedly “Drunk & High”

Jenelle Evans’ manager-turned-boyfriend-turned-ex “August Keen” (real name: Daniel Miranda) is spilling the tea all about Jenelle’s alleged drinking and drug problem! 

While the fired Teen Mom star and her former soulmate— who broke up in February— have been slinging insults and accusations back-and-forth online all week, “August’s” latest claims regarding Jenelle’s kids are particularly concerning.

In a message posted to TikTok on Wednesday, “August” claimed that Jenelle once made her 15-year-old son Jace drive her to “August’s” home in the middle of the night, due to Jenelle allegedly being too “drunk and high” to drive herself. (Jace does not currently have a driver’s license or learner’s permit, just FYI.)

“How about you tell people the truth, how you were so drunk and high that you made JACE drive you to my house at 4 a.m., 45 minutes away, and he bragged to me about doing 120mph the whole way to my house while you laughed,” he wrote, adding that Jenelle allegedly broke the frames off his door when she arrived at his home. 

As The Ashley told you earlier this week, Jenelle and “August” got into it on Tuesday after “August” accused the former ‘Teen Mom’ star of often being too high to parent her three children. He also claimed that Jenelle has refused to pay a medical bill for Jace, leaving him to deal with it instead. 

After Jenelle claimed on social media Tuesday night that her kids never liked “August,” he hit back in a statement to OK! Magazine. According to “August,” Jenelle’s kids loved him and told him so daily. 

“But anytime you didn’t get your way, you would tell the kids not to like me,” he said of Jenelle. “You would put them in the middle of all of our disagreements and manipulate them and lie to them to be on your side just like you do with people and the Internet.” 

The kids aren’t, however, fond of Jenelle, according to “August.” He told the magazine that this is because they allegedly believe their mom is “a drunk and a druggie.”

“August” went on to claim that the only time Jenelle’s kids are happy with her is when she’s buying them things. Later in his statement, “August” stated that neither he nor the kids even saw Jenelle very much while he was at her Las Vegas home because Jenelle “was always locked away in the closets doing drugs by herself for hours and hours every single day.” 

“It’s her daily ritual,” he said. “We couldn’t do anything as a family because she can’t function without a substance. It got so old, so fast. It was lame and seriously such a huge waste of quality time.” 

“August” warned Jenelle that if she wanted to bring up the topic of kids, it’s a battle she “will lose.” 

“ … so I suggest you keep kids out of your mouth when you speak about me,” he said. “I didn’t bring up the kids, I brought up a BILL you will be responsible for, one way or another. But you can’t respond intelligently because you never did register or understand things normally, and it’s your fault because you won’t give drugs and alcohol a f**king break.” 

As for the unraveling of his and Jenelle’s relationship, “August” said having a relationship with the former ‘Teen Mom’ star “is seriously impossible,” claiming he spent half of his time “fighting” with Jenelle to “stop doing drugs in the house,” which he says she was not capable of doing.

Jenelle has since taken to X to fire off a string of responses to August’s statement, claiming her kids were never around when she and “August” would go out drinking and insisting that she doesn’t keep any alcohol in her house. 

“And saying I’m ‘on drugs’ because I smoke is a little far-fetched,” she wrote in another tweet. “To you it’s a drug, to me it’s a plant.” 

Jenelle then seemingly– and rather poorly– attempted to prove her innocence by bringing up the fact that she’s been accused of being on drugs by many of her exes, not just “August.” 

“And you know how many exes try accusing me of being on drugs?!” Jenelle wrote. “You need to focus on not hitting women when you’re drunk and out of control. Join a rehab, or maybe AA would be a good choice for you? Just a thought.” 

Jenelle followed up that tweet by telling her former Sin City soulmate that everyone is happier without him around.

“Everyone in my life doesn’t like you and everyone I know doesn’t want to work with you,” she wrote. “You’re a washed up ‘manager’ that just wants to get in between everyone’s deals and takes their money.”
