Jenelle Evans' Son Jace Moves Back In With Her After 3 Weeks Of Living With His Dad

Teen Mom Jenelle Evans' son Jace, 16, moves back into her Vegas home after briefly living with his dad Andrew in Florida | The US Sun

Jace Evans is back home in Las Vegas with his mom and siblings after trying out a new living situation with his dad down in Florida for nearly a month.

As we reported in May, Jenelle Evans‘ 16-year-old son had been sent to the Sunshine State to live with his dad, Andrew Lewis, after myriad issues at home in Sin City with the Teen Mom vet. But now, not even a month after the teenager was sent off to his formerly-estranged father to start anew, Jace is back in Nevada with multiple sources reporting things just didn’t work out.

According to both Ashley’s Reality Roundup and the US Sun over the weekend, Jace was shipped back to Vegas on a flight home from Florida earlier this week. The 33-year-old momma flew the teenager back home on Tuesday, to be frank. And by the sound of it, things never really got off the ground out there.

An insider explained how Jace spent the first week — back in mid-May — down in Florida with Andrew. Then, the two drove up to North Carolina… and that’s when some old issues apparently surfaced. The source noted:

“Jace was with his dad in Florida for the first week, and then they drove up to North Carolina together, but once there and reunited with his friends, he didn’t want to leave.”

During that week in NC, Jace purportedly stayed at the home Jenelle still owns in that state. He also spent some time with those aforementioned friends. And, he stayed for a bit with his grandmother Barbara Evans, as well. But it wasn’t meant to be, and the NC reunion was capped.

Referencing Jenelle’s decision to bring Jace right on back to Vegas after just a three-week trial with Andrew, the insider said:

“It just wasn’t working out.”

Thus, Jace is back home in the fam’s desert rental alongside his momma, younger bro Kaiser, 10, and younger sis Ensley, 8.

We’re still unclear as to more of the specific details that caused Jenelle to pull the trigger on Jace’s Sin City return. Obviously, that insider reference to how Jace apparently “didn’t want to leave” after being reunited with his Carolina friends could loom large here. But who knows what else is part of this story.
