Teen Mom: Jenelle Evans & David Eason’s Divorce Proceedings Are Speeding Up!
Jenelle Evans had been trying to divorce David for a long time, but the process didn’t work out in her favor. However, now things are finally working out after she filed for divorce last month, demanding that the judge grant her request. She wanted an absolute, clear divorce. She also wanted to restore her maiden name. Jenelle does not want to be tied to David in any capacity.

Her attorney filed for divorce back in June and stated that there are no genuine issues of material fact. Jenelle’s attorney filed the motion to inform the judge that no one was disputing the divorce, so the court should grant it. The court has scheduled a non-jury hearing for Friday. The judge will give the couple 15 minutes to finalize the matter. Hopefully, everything will work out perfectly, and the marriage will come to an end.
It appears that the hearing will be held virtually, as Jenelle and David reside in different parts of the world. This is just their divorce proceeding, as their civil cases are still pending. Moreover, they also have a custody issue for their daughter, Ensley. The couple has ongoing cases regarding property distribution, child support, and more that they will have to mediate in future hearings.
Their next court date is postponed until August. As per North Carolina laws, the couple had to stay apart for a year without any contact to officially file for divorce. Now that a year has passed, the duo is eligible to officially separate. As per the listing, David and Jenelle separated on February 16, 2024.
