Jennifer Aydin Reacts to Andy Cohen's Criticism About Jersey Mike's Rant & Share If She Thinks It Will Impact RHONJ Return, Plus Insider Details Her Recent Run-in With Margaret Josephs

As an insider shared details about an interaction the 47-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member had with co-star Margaret Josephs, 57, prior to the ordeal, Jennifer spoke out about Andy, 56, likening her social media postings as a “self-inflicted wound” on his SiriusXM radio show.

“I did not see it. Somebody told me about it. I did not hear that,” Jennifer told Us Weekly on January 8. “But you know what? I would say that’s accurate.”

Earlier this week, on Andy Cohen Live, Andy admitted that Jennifer’s harsh statements about the employees and her fellow patron, who she told she could “buy 10 times over” as she bragged about husband Bill Aydin‘s status as a medical doctor, was not a good look.

“She melted down. And you know what, before you hit send on the post, take a beat and say, ‘How is this gonna land?’ How are you going to cause so much trouble for yourself? … You’re at the airport, you’re getting a sandwich. … It’s just, how is this gonna land?” he wondered.

Looking back, Jennifer, whose husband was “not happy” about her posts, acknowledged she shouldn’t have shared the video.

“I have to realize that me posting it is, in fact, a self-inflicted wound. I did not think it was going to go down that way,” she explained. “I thought that people would see the video and be like, ‘How rude was this guy to you?’ And he doesn’t even know you, so it’s fine. It’s all good. Lesson learned.”

During Jennifer’s visit to Jersey Mike’s, she slammed employees, including an 80-year-old woman, as slow as she declared she was a “celebrity” while attempting to get food for her kids.

“I will no longer say I’m a celebrity since people are so angry about it. But, obviously, this wouldn’t have gone so viral as it did if I wasn’t a public figure,” Jennifer noted.

As for season 15, Jennifer said she will “respect” Bravo’s decision once a cast is decided upon, even if it means she won’t be back.

“I feel like by the time they’ve regrouped to even consider who they’re going to recast or if they’re going to recast, this will be such water under the bridge. So I don’t really think that’s a thing,” she shared. “Plus, by the time they reconfigure who’s going to be on the staff, I don’t know where I’m going to be at that point in my life. I am a big believer in that God protects me and my blessings are in the proof of my lifestyle in the good that I do.”

“I always constantly pay it forward,” she added.

According to a separate report, Jennifer and Margaret were seen being cordial with one another just before the Jersey Mike’s scandal erupted.

“After Christmas, Jennifer was at the Gucci outlet in New York,” a source told OK! Magazine. “She was with family and was treating everyone to a shopping spree. Coincidentally, Margaret happened to be at the store as well.”

Although Jennifer and Margaret initially avoided one another, they ultimately crossed paths.

“Jennifer stopped and said hello to Margaret first,” the insider revealed. “Margaret was very friendly in return, which may come as a surprise given all the drama the pair have had over the years.”

During the encounter, Jennifer and Margaret reportedly discussed the possibility of a RHONJ reboot, with Margaret claiming “none of the women are returning to the show.”

“Jen was overheard saying she was not aware of anything regarding not returning to the show, but told Margaret something along the lines of ‘it is what it is’ either way,” the source said. “Jen also expressed to Margaret how she thought the show had gotten so toxic, so a breather from it was not the worst idea in the world.”

“Overall, from what could be seen, the interaction between the pair was seemingly very pleasant,” the insider added. “This was a nice change of pace from how the last season ended.”
