Jennifer Aydin revealed a text exchange with executive producer Andy Cohen after he seemingly implied on his radio show that she won’t return to Real Housewives of New Jersey next season. Plus, Jennifer shared why she recently said she was coming back.
After Jennifer’s return claim, Andy denied it and wished her well – leading fans to believe she’s getting fired. After a season of low ratings, the show is currently on hiatus. Viewers, however, are anxious to know which castmates (if any) will come back to the screen amid reports of a looming shakeup.
“So I texted Andy,” said Jennifer on the October 20 episode of My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, via @esteco2 on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I said, ‘First of all, Andy, I just really want to clarify. And I told him the situation. I did not confirm, but I did respond like, “Sorry to break it to you, I am coming back, yes” as a snarky comment. And until you guys tell me something otherwise, I am rolling with the vibe that I am still a Housewife, hence I’m coming back.'”
“And he said, ‘I knew it had to be some kind of explanation. Thanks for clarifying,'” Jennifer recalled. “So then when I saw the podcast or I heard that, I sent that to him and I said, ‘Well now people are saying that you[‘re] wishing me [well].’ He’s like, ‘Look, Jen, no decisions have been made.'”
According to Jennifer, Andy told her to “tell people we’ve spoken” and that “no decisions have been made.”
“I’m very happy to hear that Andy wishes me well!” said Jennifer. “Andy, I’m doing great. Life’s great.”
“If you ask me on the street, I’m a Housewife!” she said, via @user526672999 on TikTok. “Until they tell me otherwise, this show is coming back, I’m back, it’s still in my bio. Until I hear otherwise, this is the vibe I’m rolling with — for all of us.”
Jennifer also shared that her friend Teresa Giudice would tell her if she “got a call” about whether or not Teresa’s coming back next season.
