By now, Summer House viewers are well aware that a "random girl" sucked Jesse Solomon's toe while Lexi Wood was away for the weekend. On the Season 9 reunion, however, he shared the naked truth about what really happened behind closed doors to spawn the infamous "toe-gate" scandal.
Joking that he knew there was a "50/50 shot" that Imrul Hassan would be hooking up with the two new "friends" he’d brought home when he barged into his housemate's bedroom last summer, Jesse explained that he was "just, like, inebriated" at the time and wanted to "go check out" what was going on.
"The facts are they were done [hooking up]," he claimed, noting how things had already quieted down at that point. "They were just hanging out."
When host Andy Cohen asked Jesse to clarify if that meant "there were three people naked on the bed" when he walked in, he simply responded, "The girls were happy to see me."
But the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host didn't relent, prodding Jesse to "set the scene" and, again, questioned if everyone was undressed.
"I was wearing clothes," Jesse answered, before Imrul chimed in, "Everyone was naked except for, obviously, Jesse. He took his socks off eventually, but... that was it."
As we also already know, Jesse remained in Imrul's room for a whopping 37 minutes, leading Andy to point out that viewers naturally had questions about what was really going on during that off-camera time.
"It was a schmooze. It was a 36-minute schmooze," he replied. When Andy corrected him that it was actually 37 minutes, Jesse clarified, "Well, I saved a minute for the toe."
The investor relations financier went on to detail how he stayed to one side of the bed, telling the group he "only [had] eyes for Lexi." As for him announcing that he was "excited," as Andy put it, Jesse claimed he was "joking" about that, too.
"I think we were just, like, talking," Jesse continued. "You don't just roll into a room and immediately start sucking toes. There was just conversation."
Lexi, meanwhile, wasn't laughing along with the rest of her castmates, interjecting that she found it "sketchy" that Jesse "completely lied" to her about the whole situation. After she offered her theory that her now-ex "got a blow job," Imrul entered the chat to clear up her suspicions.
"I mean, I have no reason to protect him. It was just a toe suck," the Season 9 newcomer maintained. "It was a long 37 minutes, but it was just a toe suck."
Regardless, Jesse apologized to Lexi: "That was not the right thing to do," he conceded. "It was a mistake. I thought it was just, like, a funny joke."
Though Lexi told Andy "it didn't feel good" to relive the drama by watching the episodes back, Jesse still had some fond memories of their whirlwind summer romance.
"I fell hard," he shared, repeating that he'd only been in love once before. "I don't like people often, and I just got, like, really excited when I met Lexi. I was like, this seems like someone who could be a fit. … It felt like a big deal."
When the WWHL host read a viewer question about whether Jesse really fell head over heels for Lexi or if he just liked the idea of having a "super-hot" girlfriend, he defended his intentions for the relationship.
"Um, I liked Lexi for Lexi," Jesse insisted, citing his ex's eyes, smile, and "very nice and outgoing and flirty" personality. "It kinda sounded nice to have somebody that I was interested in. There's an element to that for sure, but it doesn't take away how great I thought Lexi was."
