And then there were two. Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette is almost over. There are just two episodes and two suitors left until viewers find out who – if anyone – she offers her final rose to. But did she already spill the winner? Keep reading for more on the possible slip-up.
When Is Golden Bachelorette Season Finale?
Joan Vassos made history in the Bachelor Nation franchise as the first Golden Bachelorette. She was a contestant on Gerry Turner’s Golden Bachelor season but left early. The Golden Bachelorette premiered on ABC in September. Less than two months later, the end is near.
After Pascal Ibgui told Joan in the last episode that he wasn’t in love with her and went home. The admission came as a shock to viewers and Joan. However, both of the remaining suitors – Guy Gansert and Chock Chapple – seem very into Joan. Which one will she choose?
Joan’s rejected suitors reunite next week for the Men Tell All special. Pascal spilled some details to Glamour magazine and said that he was able to apologize to Joan for his harsh words. He hinted to the outlet that Bachelor Nation producers encouraged him to be blunt when he preferred to spare Joan’s feelings. He also shared his strong opinions about Chock Chapple.
The Golden Bachelorette wraps up on Wednesday, November 13. But did Joan already reveal the ending?
Joan Vassos Slips, Accidentally Spills Winner?
Joan Vassos was a guest on Nick Viall’s Viall Files podcast last week. She shared her reaction to the news that Guy Gansert’s ex-wife once filed a restraining order against him. She said that she never saw that side of him. Joan also seemed to defend his actions by saying that everyone on the show has a past, including her and her late husband, John.
But listeners couldn’t help but notice that Joan Vassos gushed over Chock Chapple. Some felt that she may have accidentally revealed Chock as the winner with what she said about him. Chock Chapple said in a recent episode that he knew he would Joan was the one for him since “Day 1.” Did she feel the same?
“Immediately, I loved what he did. The Chock-o-Noodle soup was hilarious,” Joan told Nick Viall about Chock’s Golden Bachelorette introduction. She added, “The reason that was such a good thing to do is because I realized he went and figured out who I was and what was important to me.”
Joan was also impressed that Chock did his research and learned the names of her four children. “Some people might call that creepy. Some people, like me, thought ‘Wow he really is interested,'” she confessed.
Do you think Joan having so much praise for Chock is a sign that he’s the Golden Bachelorette winner? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
