Oleksandr Usyk has become undisputed for the third time after defeating Daniel Dubois in their heavyweight rematch.

Usyk is now a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion and former undisputed cruiserweight champion, sitting at the top of the pound-for-pound lists of many fans.

Joe Rogan heaps praise on Oleksandr Usyk with bold comparisons

On the JRE episode, Rogan said of Usyk, “I think he’s one of the best of all time. I really do. I think he’s one of the best heavyweights of all time and his movement is so different.”

“You’re constantly thinking ‘is this coming?’, there’s no silent agreements, there’s no relaxation, there’s no rounds off. Everything is… he’s putting it on you and moving constantly. Like I always say he’s like a giant Lomachenko.”

Usyk’s countryman, Lomachenko, is now retired with a record of 18-3 after losing to Devin Haney controversially, as well as Teofimo Lopez and Orlando Salido.

Rogan also boldly suggested Usyk is the best heavyweight since Muhammad Ali, and, not only that, but Muhammad Ali in his days as Cassius Clay.

“He’s one of the most skilful heavyweights of all time. I think you have to go back to Cassius Clay, like before they took his title away.”

Clay had his title taken away from him as a result of his evasion from the Vietnam draft. His last fight before his boxing suspension came against Zora Folley in 1967.

Rogan believes Ali vs Cleveland Williams was his best performance.
