Juliana Pasquarosa Blasts Litia Garr’s ‘Mean Girl’ Behavior: “I Thought We Had a Good Relationship” — Blames Grant Ellis for It All

While The Bachelor’s Juliana Pasquarosa and Litia Garr maintained a strong friendship leading up to the season finale, everything changed when lead Grant Ellis proposed to Juliana. Grant entered the competition with one goal: to find his wife and the mother of his kids. His 25 contestants were similarly eager to find love: Grant’s season has been emotional as he was the first Bachelor lead announced before applications opened. All of the women had strong intentions to secure a future with Grant. Unfortunately, this dynamic led to tension and several fallouts.

Grant shared chemistry with multiple contestants on The Bachelor season 29, and his indecision made eliminations quite painful. Many of the eliminated women felt that Grant was in love or at least approaching that stage in their relationship. The most severe case of whiplash happened to runner-up Litia Garr. The lead continuously validated Litia and told her she would be “the one.” When Grant chose Juliana, her relationship with the season’s winner soured. Juliana was left feeling cast out and even bullied. Juliana should not be punished for Grant’s actions.

Juliana Didn't Like How Litia Brought Her Up When Discussing Her Elimination

Litia Implied That Juliana Should Second-Guess Her Relationship With Grant

Litia was understandably upset when Grant eliminated her in the final hour. In the time leading up to the proposal, Grant flip-flopped between the women. He struggled tremendously, and the show's strict timeline left him overwhelmed and emotionally torn. However, despite this indecision, Grant spent most of his time with Litia, assuring her that he loved her and felt prepared for their future.

Subsequently, during her rejection, Litia took some shots at Grant and Juliana. While Grant’s actions were arguably manipulative, her comments regarding his relationship with Juliana were uncalled for. She seemed to be acting out of resentment. Juliana did nothing to deserve the petty attacks.

First, Litia indicated that Juliana should second-guess Grant’s intentions by stating, “I would have a lot of questions if I were her, from the things that you've said to me.” Juliana wasn’t happy to hear her name brought up during the moment, as she was not involved in this decision. Lita went on to make an especially biting comment regarding her love story:

"I'm glad that this whole last week and that last day aren’t a part of my love story. I know I deserve someone [who knows] without a shadow of a doubt that they’re going to choose me."

This remark was malicious. Litia is directly insulting Juliana’s relationship with Grant. While her frustrations are valid, she doesn’t need to imply that Grant doesn’t fully love Juliana. Juliana was heartbroken to hear these comments since she wanted to maintain friendships with her costars.

Juliana Lost Many Of Her Relationships With The Other Women

Juliana hoped she and the other women could stay in contact post-filming. She and Litia, as the final two contestants, spent the most time together. This bonding and their budding friendship rapidly declined as Litia pulled away and insulted Juliana’s relationship.

In an interview on The Viall Files podcast, Juliana spoke about her disappointment in her damaged relationship with Litia. Juliana remarked, “I thought there was a good relationship, but it seems like actions since AFR and moving forward have not been the kindest.” Unfortunately, her relationships with the other contestants have been similarly strained.

When Juliana reached out to the other women and asked whether they would be there for the live finale, “I was told that they were coming in support of Litia.” This crushed Juliana as she created what she thought would be lasting friendships. Grant’s dynamic with Litia ended up unjustly harming Juliana’s connections. Litia’s comments only hurt her relationships even further.

Is Grant Ellis To Blame For Juliana & Litia's Feud?

Litia’s frustrations and Juliana’s damaged relationships with her costars are a direct result of Grant’s actions. Grant continuously assured Litia that he not only loved her but was also prepared to commit to her. Litia’s subsequent anger was valid.

However, Litia’s frustrations should be aimed at Grant rather than Juliana. Her comments were unnecessarily spiteful. Juliana should not have been brought up in the conversation when the focus was on Grant’s accountability, not her.

While Grant miscommunicated his intentions with Litia, he and Juliana were confident in their commitment. The pair have taken the time to discuss the show's final weeks and Grant’s relationship with Litia. Grant and Juliana may have to prove their authenticity to doubting fans, but The Bachelor’s latest couple is up for the challenge. They have the potential to make it.

The Bachelor is available to stream on Hulu.
