Julianne Hough Asks for Emmy Votes In Emotional Message

   

Julianne Hough is hungry for another Emmy award. The “Dancing With the Stars” host posted a heartfelt message to her Instagram page on June 12, 2025, to drum up support.

The 36-year-old announced that Emmy voting had just opened, and implored members of the TV academy to vote for her.

Alongside a “DWTS” promotional post she wrote that she was “beyond grateful” for her long-lasting tenure on the dance competition. She referred to the show as “my family for the past 18 years” and reflected on having filled every role, “professional dancer, judge, and now host!”

The blonde beauty informed TV Academy members that she is eligible to be nominated in the category for “Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program” and added that her co-host, Alfonso Ribeiro, is in the running with her.

She finished her note by saying she and the season 19 winner “hope you’ll consider supporting the work our entire team did on Dancing with the Stars across all categories” before emphasizing that she is “so, so grateful.”

 

Fans are not eligible to vote for Emmy awards, but can tune in to watch the ceremony on September 14, 2025.

Julianne Hough Previously Won an Emmy in 2015

Hough is seeking to win her second Emmy award after previously receiving a trophy at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards for her choreography on “Dancing With the Stars.” The routine she created to go with the smash hit Sia song “Elastic Heart” won her the prize.

Hough shared the honor with her brother, Derek, and choreographer Tessandra Chavez. Hough reacted to the win by thanking “everybody at Dancing With the Stars for giving us a platform to create beautiful things, of course the nominees, and everybody out there that has submitted their choreography and their dances.” She urged aspiring choreographers to “keep doing it because you inspire all of us” before finishing with, “and to my amazing fiance, I love you.”

Julianne Hough Took Bathroom Selfie With a Huge Star at the Tonys

The weekend before her post looking forward to the upcoming Emmys this fall, Hough celebrated the Tony Awards by snapping a selfie with a huge star.

She took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she had grabbed a photo op with George Clooney in the bathroom of all places. “Backstage bathroom selfies-George told me he put the seat cover down for me,” she humorously captioned the picture.

Along with taking selfies, Clooney grabbed attention at the 2025 Tony Awards by sweetly kissing his wife, Amal Clooney, in an eye-grabbing moment.
