Julianne Hough Shares Her ‘Most Important’ Beauty Tip

“Dancing With the Stars” co-host Julianne Hough is all about healthy living. Her top wellness and beauty hack is also one of the easiest — hydration. See what Hough said about prioritizing this simple habit.

In a June 2025 interview with Well+Good, Hough shared that she’s leaning into simplicity these days. “We can be inundated with so many trends and so many things,” the “DWTS” star said. “And I love to try everything, but I will say less is more at this stage of my life.”

She noted, “Everybody asks me: What are my beauty tips? Honestly, water and being hydrated.”

“It’s the most important thing. I’ve been a dancer my whole life. I love an active lifestyle. So anything that fuels my body from the inside out is something that I’m passionate about,” Hough explained.

She enjoys lemon water in the morning and will choose a sparkling water on ice over a cocktail.

“I always have water wherever I’m at, whether it’s on the plane, on the go in the car, because I’m active,” Hough shared. “It is my go-to for everything.”

Of course, dance is such a huge part of Hough’s life and wellness. She explained why dancing is such a beneficial exercise for physical and mental health.

“[It’s] because of the music connection as well as the people connection,” she shared.

Hough continued, “You’re not only connecting with yourself and your body, but you’re also connecting with people around you.”

She added, “That’s why community and movement and dance is, I think, even more beneficial than doing it by yourself.”

Hough Announces New Partnership

On June 11, Hough announced her partnership with Icelandic Glacial water. “I’m beyond excited to officially partner with @icelandicglacial,” she wrote in the Instagram post’s caption.

Hough continued, “Water is essential to who I am — it fuels my body, my mind, and my movement. Icelandic Glacial is next-level: naturally filtered through lava rock, pH 8.4, and so pure you can feel the difference — nothing added, nothing taken away.”

“Their ‘You Are What You Drink. Be Exceptional’ campaign is all about owning who you are, living fully, and being your best self, which is exactly what I stand for,” the “DWTS” co-host shared.
