On January 18, Lowry took to her Instagram account to wish her eldest child, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera, a happy birthday. While speaking to Us Weekly in August 2024, Lowry said she was proud of how Isaac has conducted himself.

“Honestly, I’m just so proud of him. Because the things that I was doing at his age versus the things that he is doing at his age are night and day,” said Lowry to the publication.

Lowry also noted that she was 16 years old when she got pregnant with Isaac. She said her teenage self was quite different than her eldest child.

“The things I was doing at his age, he’s not even concerned about half of those things. So it’s really really cool to watch him just flourish into who he is become,” said Lowry during the Us Weekly interview.

In addition, Lowry shared that her son is passionate about American Sign Language. According to Lowry, he is fluent and intends on being an interpreter.

“He takes online courses with the local school for the deaf. And then he wants to be an interpreter,” said Lowry while speaking to Us Weekly.

During the Us Weekly interview, Lowry shared where she stands with Isaac’s father. She said that they sometimes have a good relationship.

“For a little while it was a little weird just because the older the child gets, the dynamic of co-parenting shifts. And so, we don’t need to communicate every day,” said Lowry during the interview.

In an April 2024 episode of her podcast, “Coffee Convos,” Lowry said that Isaac’s father does not communicate with her, besides the rare text about their son.

“We have no communication whatsoever. We don’t talk,” said Lowry on her podcast.

She also said she was “not hurt” by the lack of communication.

“I’m not upset by it. But I think that with that can come frustrations and with that can come feelings of resentment,” said Lowry.
