Kaity Biggar Gets Candid About ‘Brutal’ Nursing Career: ‘Just Surviving the Shift Is the Win’

Bachelor Nation fans got to watch fan-favorite couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”

Since then, the two have been enjoying their lives together in Austin, Texas, with their adorable dog Honey.

The couple recently revealed they are now officially married with a Bachelor Nation exclusive wedding video.

Now, Kaity is taking to social media to get candid about her nursing career, which she has continued after being on the show.

Alongside a new TikTok where she shows a chaotic day in the life of a nurse at a hospital, Kaity shares a message for her fellow health care professionals. 

The Bachelor Nation star wrote, “I know what it feels like to go hours without sitting down.. when your feet are throbbing, your lower back is aching, and that so-called “lunch break” is just enough time to heat up your food. We get pulled in every direction — answering call lights, putting in orders, passing meds, calming down upset family members, holding someone’s hand, cleaning up one mess while already running to the next.”

Kaity went on, saying, “All while silently wondering, ‘Is this shift ever going to end?’ I’ve had those days where I kept it together all shift, only to cry in the car on the way home. Because this job is beautiful… but it’s brutal. You give everything — physically, mentally, emotionally — and sometimes, it still doesn’t feel like enough. But it is.”

She ended her post with an empowering message for her fellow heroes.

Kaity wrote, “You’re doing more than enough — even on the days that feel like a blur of chaos, caffeine, and pure survival mode. We don’t always get thank yous. We don’t always get breaks. But we do get moments — quiet, powerful ones — where we know we made a difference. And honestly? Some days, just surviving the shift is the win. If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or barely holding it together — you’re not alone.”
