Kathryn Dennis has reportedly moved into her father’s home after being evicted from her luxury apartment weeks ago.
On the heels of a series of social media posts from the Southern Charm star, it is being revealed that the mother of two, whose contract for the show was not renewed for a ninth season, is currently living with her dad, Luke Dennis, at his controversial estate in Berkeley County, South Carolina.
“She’s back with her dad in Moncks Corner for now, I knew she would be,” an insider told The U.S. Sun on April 24. “The house is on the water and has a lot of land but it’s a very old property and needs work doing on it. Her dad is the only one living there since her mom passed.”
After facing a series of evictions throughout 2022, during which time she lived briefly with her now-ex-boyfriend, Chleb Ravenell, Kathryn settled an eviction lawsuit brought against her in March.
“Kathryn has a lot of issues and I hear he’s pretty tired of it all but still supports her of course,” the source added.
In the weeks since she was evicted from her latest apartment on March 8, Kathryn has been posting on Instagram from her controversial family home, Lewisfield Plantation.
“Back to my roots tour,” she captioned a video of herself driving around the property.
“It’s so sad it’s come to this, but she has nobody to blame but herself,” the insider continued. “I’ve been told she has a new manager, but she’s been through so many, who knows what she’s going to do next, she’s never really had a real job.”
In a since-deleted scene from the third season of Southern Charm, Kathryn was seen giving a tour of her family’s plantation to K. Cooper Ray.
“And there’s actually a slave cemetery over there — no joke!” she told him on the premiere.
“Wow! So this was a rice plantation?” he replied.
“Yes. Rice, cotton, and tobacco,” she confirmed.
As Southern Charm fans may have heard, Kathryn was not given a contract for season nine due to her reportedly poor treatment of staff and her equally unfavorable work ethic.
“I know Bravo didn’t offer her a contract, but when you treat people poorly like she has they finally get sick of it,” an insider previously revealed to The U.S. Sun. “She doesn’t show up on time or show up at all during filming a lot. She treats people like they are beneath her. She can’t stand anyone doing better or getting more attention than her.”
