Kathryn Dennis Shares Sweet Moment With Daughter Kensington: “Cherishing Every Moment”

Kathryn Dennis' life as a mom of two is just a little more private these days. The Southern Charm alum is not too active on social media now, but when she does share new details or give new glimpses at her life, they are so exciting.

Kathryn gave a rare look into her life when she took to Instagram to post a photo of her hanging out with her 11-year-old daughter, Kensington "Kensie" Calhoun back in 2024. In the photo, Kathryn can be seen standing on a Charleston sidewalk, wearing a peach and pink floral printed dress. Kensie looked so much like her mom's twin as she stood next to her in her adorable t-shirt and shorts. The little girl accessorized the outfit with a bubblegum pink headband and super wide smile, which matched her mom's own grin.

"Girls day with my [not-so-little] one before she heads off to summer camp!" Kathryn wrote in the caption of the post at the time. "Cherishing every moment."

Kathryn's friends then took to the comments of the post, where they shared their love for the adorable mother-daughter duo. Olivia Flowers left three pink heart emojis, while Madison LeCroy could not get over how much Kensie has grown.  

"She's taller than me," Madison noted.

Austen Kroll reveals where he stands with Kathryn Dennis

Kathryn's low profile has extended to her friends in the Southern Charm inner circle, like Austen Kroll. During a Jan. 30, 2025, appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Austen admitted that he has not seen Kathryn recently, but has tried to reach out to her.

"I have reached out a few times," he explained during the WWHL After Show. "We used to like to get pedicures together. And so I'd be like, 'Hey! Let's go get a pedicure!' And she'd be like, 'Yeah! Let's!' And then, radio silence from her. And that's just tough. It's tough when the other person doesn't reciprocate."

But, Kathryn has been appreciating all of the "good" in her life. The mom of two took to her Instagram Story on Friday, Jan. 10, where she shared a photo of a beautiful Charleston sunrise. In the photo, tall trees can be seen standing against a blue and orange sky, which was reflected off of a still body of water.

"The kind of morning that makes you stop and breathe it all in," she wrote over the photo, alongside an image of an animated coffee cup with the words "good morning" written on top of it.
