Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's sandwich shop, Something About Her, has continued to thrive since its May 2024 opening, and the Vanderpump Rules entrepreneurs recently shared an exciting update on their business.
"Yesterday's tea party at [Something About Her] was so much fun," Ariana wrote over a February 17 Instagram Story snapshot of herself and Katie posing at their store enjoying tea and small bites for the store's new tea party events. "We love our staff and our patrons!"
Additionally, Katie shared a photo of Ariana smiling as she snapped photos herself while sitting across the table. In front of Ariana was a three-tier tea stand with what looked like crustless cucumber sandwiches on the bottom, and different medleys of sandwiches and other bites on the second and third tiers. While we couldn't determine the bites' specifics, they appeared to have some mixture of vegetables, cheese, and bread.
Inside Something About Her's tea parties
Back in October 2024, Ariana revealed via her Instagram Stories that the women were planning a tea-focused project at their business.
In the photo, a pair of anonymous hands held a teacup next to a three-tiered tray of tea sandwiches and pastries. Also in the photo was an empty wine bottle filled with flowers. "Coming soon," read the text over the photo. "Something About Tea."
Following that announcement, Something About Her's Instagram account shared a look at their tea parties with the three-tiered plates topped with delicious-looking bites and floral-printed teapots.
"Pov: you & your bestie traded [happy hour] for tea time so now you spend your Sunday mornings hangover free with a cup of S.A.H. herbal tea," the caption read in the post. "Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first ever tea times! we cannot wait to host you all again very soon…stay tuned."
Something About Her's tea party menu
On February 5, the business also shared the menu details for their special tea parties. The business offers two experiences: The Elizabeth and The Diana.
"The Elizabeth offers the royal treatment," the Instagram post's caption read of the "deluxe" offering. "Indulge in our signature tea towers with elevated touches, including extra tea sandwiches to share, freshly brewed tea, and a bottle of sparkling Avaline for the table (for guests 21 and over). A truly elegant way to savor the moment."
Additionally, The Diana experience offers a "classic" party for patrons. "Guests will enjoy our signature tea towers paired with freshly brewed tea and a glass of sparkling Avaline—perfect for toasting with friends!" the caption read.
As for pricing, the "signature" tea menus starts at $70 per person while the vegetarian version of the menus starts at $65 per person.
