Katie Maloney and Something About Her sandwich shop teamed with Hellmann’s Mayonnaise for a commercial!
Based on the timeline and the styles of shots used, this is seemingly what was filmed at the Vanderpump Rules alum’s popular West Hollywood sandwich shop on January 14th.
The commercial:
Katie was “incognito” as she donned a tan trench coat, a black beret, and sunglasses she crept into Something About Her.
Teasing her ‘secret sauce,’ the Hellmann’s ad continued with all of the shop’s patrons really enjoying their sandwiches … (It gave major ‘When Harry Met Sally vibes, iykyk). “I’ll have what they’re having,” Katie requested.
As for Katie’s caption, she wrote, “Going undercover is the only way to find out what people really think about my new sandwich with @hellmannsmayonnaise. They loved it, of course!”
We may see more of Something About Her in the future:
Ariana Madix announced she’s (literally) holding space to host the next batch of SURvers at her and Katie’s sandwich shop … which is mere steps away from SUR.
The Broadway actress/Love Island USA host even offered their boutique sandwich shop for the upcoming season of VPR. (FYI, Jon Hutman, a designer for Nancy Meyers films, designed Something About Her … so it’s camera-ready!)
“If any of those kids next door at SUR want to pop into Something About Her and have a sandwich and have a little argument over some Cameron sandwiches and some Avaline wine, we’d love to have them,” she offered.
Re: the ruuuuuhhhhmur and nastiness about Katie and Ariana Madix feuding …
The Disrespectfully podcast co-host discredited the Redditor who claimed she and her Something About Her partner/friend were arguing over operations since Ariana has been more present.
“It’s complete fan fiction, lol,” commented Katie to Instagram user @blondehairblackheart. “Ariana and I are as good as ever. We were both so confused where all that spawned from, but I can only come up with it fitting some kind of bias.”
