Katie Speaks Out on "Rumors" of Feud with Ariana: "Where the F--k Is This Coming From

Even as they've mixed business into their friendship, Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix are still besties. 

Katie reacted to recent speculation that she and Ariana, who met on Vanderpump Rules, had a major falling-out during the February 19 episode of her podcast, Disrespectfully.

While chatting with co-host Dayna Kathan about the things she's been hating lately, the Something About Her sandwich shop co-owner said the "fan fiction" rumors about her and Ariana's lives.

"I won't be super discreet about this. When people want to just straight up make up rumors about people, like someone said that me and Ariana were fighting and all of our friends felt awkward," Katie said on the podcast. "And I was like, 'Where the f--k is this coming from?' Talking about like, 'Oh, now Ariana is back and has all these ideas.'"

After a whirlwind 2024 featuring two runs in Chicago on Broadway, a hosting role on Love Island USA, and a recent guest spot on Will Trent, Ariana is indeed spending more time at the sandwich shop these days — but there's still no drama between her and Katie. 

"There [were] articles written about this, that we're taking these online rumors as fact... Unless it's gonna be about me winning, like what the f--k?" Katie continued on the podcast. "I don't like fan fiction. I don't like people [who] just have nothing going on in their lives and make up straight-up lies. Everyone's gonna be like, 'Totally, they hate each other.' Like, what on earth?"

Katie shut down the rumor once again before changing topics. "It's not even true, not even remotely true," she reiterated.

Ariana and Katie's friendship is thriving, and their sandwich shop business is flourishing as well. On February 17, Ariana shared photos from the store's newest addition: tea party gatherings. 

"Yesterday's tea party at [Something About Her] was so much fun," Ariana shared alongside a photo of her and Katie enjoying the soiree themselves. "We love our staff and our patrons!" 

Katie also posted an image of Ariana posing in front of a tiered tray of various finger sandwiches and two cups of tea. 

"Cutie," Katie wrote alongside the image featuring her close pal, which you can check out above.
