Kelly Osbourne recently opened up about what it’s like traveling with her 2-year-old son, Sidney. “…you never want to be that one person on the airplane with a crying baby,” the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant told People.
Osbourne, 40, went on to explain, “It’s a scary situation for any mother to travel with their baby because you never know how they’re gonna behave or react.”
But it seems as though the singer has been fortunate when it comes to Sidney’s behavior. “…my luck has been so good,” she shared. “Like every plane we go on, he sleeps, and then everyone’s like, ‘I can’t believe that your kid was so good.’”
Motherhood Suits Kelly Osbourne Well
Osbourne has taken on many roles in her life. She’s been a reality star, a singer, a TV host, and even snagged third place on “DWTS.” But according to her, being a mom is “the best thing ever.” She added, “I don’t remember my life before it.”
In 2022, Osbourne and her boyfriend, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, welcomed their son, Sidney. Osbourne was over the moon about becoming a mother, telling E! News, “It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me.” She also admitted that parenthood was scary, “because you don’t want to make a mistake.”
Like many protective celebrity parents, Osbourne and Wilson wanted to keep their son’s name private, but Osbourne’s mom, Sharon, spilled the beans live on her U.K. talk show “The Talk.” And her dad, Ozzy, was equally chatty about his daughter’s new addition. “He did an interview today and I’m outside the door…like, ‘Dad, shut up!'” Osbourne shared with People.
Sidney’s Special Bond With Kelly Osbourne’s Parents
Despite their inability to keep mum about their daughter’s family life, Osbourne’s parents share a special bond with her son, Sidney. They especially love getting cozy together and watching TV.
“…he goes and gets in bed with them and they have cartoon time together and it is the sweetest thing ever,” Osbourne shared. Sidney loves hanging with his grandparents so much, he doesn’t want to leave. “I have to literally rip him out,” the singer said.
As for Osbourne’s rock star dad, who is now a grandfather of five, he and Sidney are as close as can be. “Oh my God, they’re best friends,” Osbourne revealed.
