Kelsey Anderson may have gotten engaged shortly after meeting her fiancé, Joey Graziadei, during season 28 of The Bachelor, though she exclusively tells Life & Style that they’re in no rush to get married while sharing a wedding update.
“Joey and I have been talking about how we need to find a wedding planner because we’re both so busy. So, I mean, for me right now, I’m just trying to find the best wedding planner that I can find that makes sense for us,” Kelsey, 26, exclusively tells Life & Style while promoting her partnership with Conair.
Kelsey adds that she and Joey, 29, are “trying to first narrow down” where they want to get married. “We’re right now in California, but he’s from Philly. I’m from Louisiana. We’re like, ‘Do we do a destination? Do we do one just on the East Coast? Do we do one where we live now?’” she shares about their dilemma.
Fans watched Kelsey and Joey get engaged during the season 28 finale of The Bachelor in March 2024. Following the finale, they have become more public about their relationship and she was by his side as he competed and ultimately won season 33 of Dancing With the Stars.
While Kelsey admits she and Joey haven’t done much to start their wedding planning process, she previously admitted to Life & Style that she plans to include tributes to her and Joey’s late loved ones during the ceremony.
“I don’t have any family traditions, but I definitely want to incorporate our loved ones who aren’t there with us anymore but have had an impact on both of our lives and who we are,” she revealed. “So, I definitely want to pay tribute to our grandparents who aren’t here anymore and my mom. And yeah, I don’t know exactly what way we will do that, but I definitely want to incorporate those people [who] aren’t with us but are definitely watching over us. That sounds like it’s going to be really special.”
Kelsey’s late mother Denise died following her battle with breast cancer in 2018. The influencer admitted she’s not sure how she and Joey will pay tribute to their loved ones during their wedding, though it’s possible that butterflies will be incorporated to honor her mother.
“Whenever I see butterflies, it feels like it’s my mom there. Right before I came on here, I got off work and I was walking down, and I saw butterflies in the middle of the city of New Orleans,” she previously said during an episode of The Bachelor. “And I don’t know, that kind of was reassuring to me.”
Not only did Kelsey tease her wedding planning process, but she also opened up about her partnership with Conair. “I got to try out their digital air-drying wand, and I’ve never been the best at doing my own hair, like a blowout, because I have so much hair. And so, this is the first device that I feel like just worked really fluidly for me, where you know it had the styling attachments, all these things in one,” she said of the InfinitiPRO by Conair DigitalAIRE Drying Wand. “And the way that I don’t know all the attachments worked, it was just very easy.”
