Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei fell in love while filming his season of “The Bachelor.” After that, she was by his side as he competed on and won season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Their relationship is still going strong and the pair now lives together in Los Angeles, California. They look forward to their wedding day, however, that won’t come for a while. Anderson recently opened up about the pair’s decision to push out their anticipated wedding day.
Luckily, fans don’t have to worry about the reasons behind the decision to delay their big day. Anderson explained their reasoning in a recent chat with Sports Illustrated.
Kelsey Anderson & Joey Graziadei Don’t Want to Feel Stressed About Planning
On May 7, Sports Illustrated shared updates from Anderson on the wedding planning process.
The media outlet noted that Graziadei and Anderson initially thought they would plan for a spring 2026 wedding. However, she explained, with that timeline, they would have to get serious about the planning now.
“We really don’t want to be stressed. We don’t want to just throw things together,” Anderson explained.
As a result, they have decided to shift their timeline. Now, they are anticipating a spring 2027 wedding date.
‘The Bachelor’ Winner Wants a Timeless Feel for Her Wedding
Anderson also shared some tidbits about what she envisions for her big day.
“I want the wedding to be a part of both of us. I know a lot of times the guys kind of let the lady take over, but I don’t know [about that]. I want it to be a representation of both of us equally,” Anderson explained.
She also noted, “I definitely want our wedding to be pretty timeless. I want it to be able, in 30 or 40 years, to look like it could be done then.”
Since falling in love while filming season 28 of “The Bachelor,” Anderson and Graziadei have only grown stronger as a couple.
Anderson shared, “I always knew that Joey was a sweet, kind man. But I feel like his goofiness has really come out more post-show and the more that we get to know each other.”
“The Bachelor” winner also told Sports Illustrated, “Joey was always really good at reassuring me, especially right after the show, and proving to me that he’s there for me and that he is going to do whatever it takes for us to work.”
