Kelsey Anderson Says She’s “Ready to Dance” — and She Already Knows Who She Wants as Her DWTS Partner

Bachelor Season 28 star Joey Graziadei competed on and won Season 33 of DWTS. His fiance, whom he got engaged to on the show, moved to Los Angeles to support him while he was on the dance competition. The couple is staying in L.A. for the time being. Kelsey Anderson reveals who she wants for her DWTS partner.

Kelsey Anderson Says ‘Yes’ To DWTS

When Joey Graziadei was competing on DWTS, Kelsey Anderson was often asked if she would join the show. At the time, it was a hard no for the former construction project manager.

She said that she would be terrible on stage. But now it seems she’s coming around to the idea. She revealed her change of heart in a new interview with Page Six. The hard “no” is now a hard “yes.”

“I feel like that’s an opportunity that’s so amazing. I think I couldn’t say ‘no’ to it… It’s amazing,” she said about the possibility of being asked to join Season 34.

In addition to learning dance moves, she praised how competing on DWTS helped shape Joey Graziadei’s body. “And also how ripped he got during it. It’s crazy … I think that’s such a good workout,” she said.

Kelsey Anderson is already pretty healthy and regularly works out. But she wouldn’t mind using DWTS to help keep her toned.

Who She Wants For A Pro Partner

Kelsey Anderson hasn’t officially joined the new DWTS season yet. However, she already has a professional dance partner in mind. Joey Graziadei was paired with Jenna Johnson. If Kelsey could choose, she would pick Jenna’s husband, Val Chmerkovskiy.

Val Chmerkovskiy joined the ABC dance competition in Season 13. Jenna Johnson joined in 2016. The pro dancing couple married in 2019 and have a two-year-old son, Rome.

Joey and Kelsey previously said that they were working on a dance for their wedding with Val and Jenna. The Bachelor couple hasn’t nailed a date down yet, but are looking at 2026 or 2027 for possible wedding dates.

If Val couldn’t be her partner for some reason, she also mentioned being a fan of Ezra Sosa. He made his DWTS debut in Season 33 after joining the troupe in 2021.

Dancing With The Stars Returns For Season 34

Dancing With The Stars was among the shows renewed at ABC. Season 34 will air on Tuesdays this fall, though a premiere date hasn’t been announced. The cast is also a mystery.

The network has only announced Robert Irwin as a contestant on Season 34. He’s the son of famed “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin. Without official confirmation, the internet has gone wild with rumored DWTS contestants, including American Idol runner-up John Foster and ABC anchor Michael Strahan. Add Bachelor Nation’s Kelsey Anderson to that wish list.

But before she (maybe) hits the dance floor, Kelsey Anderson has big travel plans. She recently traveled to Japan with Joey Graziadei to mark another item off his birthday bucket list. Their next stop is Mexico this summer.
