Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark Anderson, did a couples Halloween costume — and not with Joan Vassos!
The Golden Bachelorette star was dressed as Prince Charming on Saturday, October 26, and had One Tree Hill star Barbara Alyn Woods taking on the role of his Cinderella. The actress, known for playing Deb Scott on the teen drama, posted a photo of her and Mark, 57, along with her daughter Natalie Alyn Lind.
“When Cinderella and Prince Charming have a baby,” Woods, 62, captioned the Instagram post, referring to her daughter Natalie, 24, who was dressed as Grogu from The Mandalorian. (In other Bachelor-related Halloween news, contestant Pascal Ibgui dressed as Joan over the weekend.)
Bachelor Nation members have started to question how Mark and Woods have become acquainted after watching Joan send Mark home following an emotional one-on-one date.
Fans of both The Bachelor franchise and One Tree Hill were quick to lose their minds at the crossover.
“Deb and Mr. Anderson?!?!?” one commenter wrote. Another added, “My OTH and Bachelor Nation worlds colliding‼️”
A third noted that they were “freaking out” over this duo.
Mark — who is the father of former Bachelor Joey Graziadei’s fiancée, Kelsey — became a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette after Kelsey appeared on The Bachelor earlier this year.
Following his elimination from the show, some fans have started to speculate that Mark would be the next Golden Bachelor star — and he has daughter Kelsey’s full support.
“If that’s what he wants to do, I would fully support him,” she told Us Weekly earlier this month while promoting a partnership with F— Cancer and Little Words Project. “I think that my dad has grown so much through this journey of The Golden Bachelorette.”
Kelsey said she would “100 percent be excited” and “support” her dad if he took on the next leading man role. (Mark shares kids Kelsey, Matthew, Taylor and Jordan with his late wife, Denise, who died in 2018 following a battle with breast cancer.)
“I think that he grew a lot from it and I’m just really proud of him,” Kelsey told Us about his Golden Bachelorette journey. “I’m also really thankful for Joan in helping my dad through all of this.”
Mark was sent home after Joan noted that she had a “stronger connection” with the other contestants.
“I know that after he left, he was pretty sad because he did really appreciate Joan and he really did care for her. So I think he had a hard time leaving,” Kelsey added. “But I think that he really valued his experience through it all and he had the best time.”
Mark told Kelsey that he “made 21 best friends,” referring to Joan’s other suitors. “I think that it helped him grow a lot with his grieving as well,” Kelsey added.
