Ariana Biermann, the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, grew up on reality TV. She first appeared on RHOA before starring in her family’s spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy. Now, Ariana is about to step back into the spotlight on a new Bravo series, Next Gen NYC. However, her return to TV comes just as she wraps up a very real-life legal battle following her 2022 arrest for DUI.
Kim Zolciak’s daughter Ariana Biermann took a plea deal after 2022 DUI

According to court documents, Ariana, 23, accepted a plea deal in a Georgia courtroom last Friday. She pleaded guilty to reckless driving and possession of drug-related objects. Prosecutors dropped the DUI charge.
As part of the deal, Ariana will serve 24 months of probation, pay more than $2,000 in fines, and complete 40 hours of community service. She’s also required to attend a Victim Impact program, undergo a substance abuse evaluation, and avoid alcohol or drugs unless prescribed.

However, the court made it clear: any probation violation could result in jail time.
Ariana’s arrest dates back to August 2022. She was 20 at the time and involved in a minor accident when police suspected she had been drinking. She was charged with DUI, underage alcohol possession, and improper lane change. Her then-boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, was also arrested for DUI and allegedly furnishing alcohol to a minor. At the time, Ariana denied the charges.
Her lawyer, Justin Spizman, spoke out following her recent sentencing. He told Page Six, “Ms. Biermann maintained her innocence since her arrest. We are pleased that the State of Georgia eventually decided to dismiss the impaired driving charge and offer Ms. Biermann the opportunity to plead guilty to a traffic ticket.”
He added, “Despite her desire to fight this case, she took advantage of the opportunity to put this matter behind her and focus her energy on all the positive endeavors in her life.”
The timing of her sentencing comes just days before the premiere of Next Gen NYC. The new Bravo series follows children of Bravolebrities and celebrities as they navigate life, careers, and relationships in New York.
Next Gen NYC premieres Tuesday, June 3 at 9/8c on Bravo. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy stream on Peacock. The shows stream on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
