Kristen Doute Weighs in on Stassi Schroeder Working with Lisa Vanderpump Again After Lisa Fired Them in 2020: “Don’t Know If I Could’ve Done It”

Stassi Schroeder Weighs In on Kristen's 'Pump Rules' Return | Us Weekly

Kristen Doute is giving her former cast mate/BFF Stassi Schroeder props (sort of) for appearing on Season 2 of Lisa Vanderpump’s Hulu series, Vanderpump Villa, years after she and Kristen were fired from Vanderpump Rules for racist actions against former cast member Faith Stowers.

On this week’s episode of the Housewives Nightcap podcast, Kristen was asked to comment on Stassi’s Season 2 gig on Vanderpump Villa, with The Valley star calling it a good career move. Kristen– who has a notoriously frosty relationship with LVP— also managed to shade the Vanderpump matriarch a bit in her response.

“But, seriously…blink twice if you need help.”

Kristen reminded listeners that a solo show is in Stassi’s future, and stated that her friend is likely just putting up with Lisa in order to secure her bag.

“ … Stassi is going to get her own show– good for her,” Kristen said, as reportedly by Us Weekly. “If you have to swallow that pill to do what’s best for you, your family and for your career, then get it.”

As The Ashley previously reported, it was announced last summer that Stassi is getting her own docuseries for Hulu called Stassi Says. Each 30-minute episode of the series, which is currently in development, will feature Stassi and “a fresh ensemble of comedic and chaotic characters who are dealing with identity crises and major life crossroads of their own.”

According to Deadline, Stassi will be the one who “has to keep them all afloat.”

While Stassi is set to follow up her stint on ‘Vanderpump Villa’ with the premiere of her own show, Kristen said she applauds her fellow former SURver for doing something she could never do: work for LVP again.

“I commend her because I don’t know if I could’ve done it,” Kristen said. “I really don’t.

“And speaking of the word ‘don’t,’ can we please talk about WTF you’re wearing, Lisa?”

“I think my ego and pride would have taken the best of me if someone offered me something like that,” she continued. “So I’m like, ‘Good for you, girl. Look at the bigger picture.’”

While Lisa is an executive producer on ‘The Valley,’ the restauranteur proved in December that she doesn’t exactly keep up with the stars of the show when she publicly questioned the paternity of the baby Kristen is currently expecting with fiancé Luke Broderick, who also stars on the Bravo series.

All episodes of ‘Vanderpump Villa’ are currently streaming on Hulu; New episodes of ‘The Valley’ air Tuesdays on Bravo.
