Kristen Doute Will Raise Daughter ‘Differently’ to Vanderpump Rules Stars

Another Vanderpump Rules child has come into the world. The Valley star and VPR alum Kristen Doute just welcomed her first child in June 2025. Her daughter Kaia Broderick’s initial journey, which was in the womb, was showcased in the second season. Viewers have seen up close and personal through Kristen’s pregnancy journey with fiancé Luke Broderick, which hasn’t been exactly smooth.

Nonetheless, Kaia is here and the couple are still together! This all begs the question, though, how much fans will see of her going forward. Will the new mom be a frequent poster of her daughter’s every move on social media? Will Kristen’s newborn be making her reality TV debut in Season 3? An inside source just spoke up.

Kristen Doute is “loving” motherhood

An anonymous source recently gave some insight into her new path in life. In addition to sharing that Kristen is “loving motherhood”, the anonymous person also threw some no-to subtle shade to her co-stars on her behalf.

“She’s taking every second in and is being really present with every moment right now. But she’s determined to raise Kaia different than her Vanderpump Rules and Valley costars,” the source told The US Sun.

The supposed close person in Kristen’s life continued by explaining the main way she will take a different parenting approach.

“She’s not showing the baby’s face publicly, at least for now. Eventually fans will see but she’s taking her sweet time with her sweet girl right now.”

This would be pretty different from Kristen’s peers. For instance, her former VPR co-star Scheana Shay wasted no time sharing Summer Moon Davies with the world, hence her daughter’s own IG page.
