Kristin Cavallari details her custody arrangement with ex-husband Jay Cutler after hinting at 'change' | Watch

Kristin Cavallari is sharing a new update on her co-parenting dynamic.

On the latest episode of Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, the mom of three, 38, opens up about a recent change in her custody agreement with ex Jay Cutler. Cavallari, who is a mom to sons Jaxon, 10, and Camden, 12, and daughter Saylor, 9, reveals that she's never taken any money from her ex and admits that she works hard to support her three children. She also gave more insight into her custody agreement.

“I did have my kids full-time for a while, and now I have them except for every other weekend,” Cavallari said. “I’m not gonna get into the reasoning or the legality of it.”

On an October episode of her podcast Let's Be Honest, Cavallari made a rare comment about her custody agreement with her former husband as she addressed her split from ex-boyfriend Mark Estes.

"I have no interest in getting back into the dating world right now. I also don't know how much time I have for dating," Cavallari said. "When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids, and that's changed."

"So I'm really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and my work," Cavallari continued. "Happiness for me is peace, and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it."

"I'm a homebody. I really am. Being home and cooking and having friends over, those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don't really have a lot of time for anything else."

In March, The Hills alum sat down with Interview Magazine and was asked about a series of topics, including co-parenting with her ex. She had a brief answer to describe the experience.

"The ultimate test in life," Cavallari candidly replied.

Cavallari has been open in the past about her relationship with Cutler, whom she split from in 2020 after 10 years together. Back in December, Cavallari gave an update on Bunnie XO's Dumb Blonde podcast and called the relationship a "bumpy road."

"It's been so up and down," Cavallari said of co-parenting with Cutler, adding that there is "zero f------ consistency, which is really hard."

While she confessed, "It has not been easy, to say the least," she recalled sitting next to him at a basketball game this year, calling it "the best thing ever."

"We made it!" she added, before joking, "And we haven't sat together since. It's a bumpy road."
