KSI and Dillon Danis had to be dragged apart by security in their first face-off ahead of their March 29 boxing fight.

The pair were in London today to begin promotion for their Misfits Boxing headliner at the AO Arena in Manchester at the end of the month. Darren Till was due to square off with Darren Stewart, but was unable to attend due to illness.

KSI and Danis were due to fight in January of 2023, but the ex-Bellator star pulled out and ended up facing Logan Paul in a farcical bout the following October.

The pair shredded one another during a tense press conference, with Dillon Danis seeming frustrated by a contractual gag on discussing certain topics. He infamously was sued by Logan Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal during the build-up to their fight, and it seems Misfits have contractual clauses to quiet his antics.

However, he was still well able to verbally spar with his rival, insisting that he was more concerned with his fight against Tony Ferguson six weeks later than this boxing bout. And things all boiled over when KSI and Danis faced off after the words were over with.

The Brit slapped his rival in the face, causing things to kick off on stage and Danis to be dragged back by a pack of event security. It appears that he used a pancake, which caused a massive noise in the London venue which was packed with hundreds of fans and media.

In the UK, it is Pancake Tuesday, and it appears that KSI was getting his celebrations started early with an outlandish stunt.

Dillon Danis has already booked his next fight after KSI

Danis has only fought once since his second Bellator outing, and hasn’t been in the cage since 2019. But he has already booked a second fight for just six weeks after he faces off with KSI in Manchester later this month.

He will face UFC veteran Tony Ferguson in one of the GFL’s debut fights. The ex-lightweight champion told Ariel Helwani yesterday that the bout will take place on May 11 in Los Angeles, a fact which Danis later confirmed with Bloody Elbow in an exclusive chat.

Danis will tip the scales at 185lb for the fight with KSI, but will be forced to lose a further 20lb in order to face Ferguson six weeks later. He insists that it will be done, but noted that his rival should have allowed him a further five pounds given that his last few UFC bouts were at welterweight.
