Now, Kyle Cook is speaking out about the drama he witnessed between the two.

Summer House's Kyle Cook Details Explosive Fights Between Carl and Lindsay Before Split, Says Their Problems were 'Bigger than most,' Plus he had Friction with Amanda

Since the breakup, both Carl and Lindsay have moved on with their lives. However, they both seem to be focused on themselves rather than rushing into new relationships.

According to People, Kyle saw some pretty explosive fights between Lindsay and Carl while they were filming Summer House. He said, “I saw things that concerned me, but how do you find the right time and place to confront not just Carl but Lindsay, too?”

He continued, “These are both my friends, and you’re kind of caught in between this weird place where you don’t want to just speak your mind. You might say something that could jeopardize your friendships. Sometimes I’m not very eloquent with my timing or my wording, so I have to pick and choose my battles.”

He went on to say that every relationship has problems, but that Carl and Lindsay’s problems were “bigger than most.”

Kyle also discussed them calling off their wedding, “I never in my right mind during the summer would I have thought they’d not go through with it. I honestly thought they would still go through with it because I knew they loved each other. I knew there was this friendship. As crazy as it sounds, it is way harder to have the self-awareness and doubts to call off a wedding than to even propose.”

Kyle also talked to People about not seeing eye to eye with his wife Amanda when they started filming for Summer House. Of course, this was two years after getting married.

He said, “I’m not going to lie about it when we went in the summer, we weren’t in a bad place, but we definitely weren’t really seeing eye to eye on a number of things, like the balance between work and our personal lives.”

The tension between the two can also be seen in the new season of Summer House. For example, in one scene a cast mate asks Amanda to pick an era she thought she might be in. Amanda responded by saying, “I might be in my no patience era, for Kyle specifically.”

Kyle also had this to say in a confessional: “I feel like we’re struggling to really feel like we’re on the same team about anything.”
