Kyle Richards is setting the record straight on the "biggest misconception" that fans have about her.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member took to her Amazon Live page on October 15 to clear up the belief that she is a major social butterfly.
"Hmm, there's so many," Kyle initially responded when asked about the things people assume about her. "But, I think what people don't know about me [is] that I'm actually quite an introvert and I keep to myself a lot."
Kyle added, "I think the illusion is that I'm out and about and at parties. And, of course, I will go to parties, especially when we're shooting and it's a friend's birthday and things like that, but I'm very much — not a homebody, but I get shy [and] uncomfortable with big crowds and stuff."
Instead of being in the center of the action, Kyle does sometimes take a break for herself when she's at a party.
"I don't think people get that about me, so if you see me and I'm in a corner hiding, that would be me, and don't be offended," she joked.
Kyle Richards' recent life events with family and friends
Kyle may be more introverted, but she's been spending some quality time with her family and friends lately. The diamond holder just spent an evening out with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and her four daughters, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie and Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky.
Farrah, Kyle, and the Umanskys wore their best Western hats to go to a concert series held at The Inn at Mattei's Tavern in Los Angeles on October 4.
Just a few days later, Kyle stepped out to celebrate her Us Weekly cover with best friend/RHOBH alum, Teddi Mellencamp. The mom of four also snapped photos with 'Wives Katie Ginella, Cynthia Bailey, and Karen Huger.
Looking to the future, Kyle is set to appear on RHOBH Season 14 alongside 'Wives Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, and newbie Bozoma Saint John. Kyle's sister, Kathy Hilton, and Sutton's bestie, actress Jennifer Tilly will also be appearing as friends on the season.
During a chat with Us Weekly, Kyle teased that the season was a difficult one for her to film.
"I had a meltdown. My first in 14 years. I was like, 'I don’t think I can physically do this anymore,'" she told the outlet. "I walked off the set and didn’t shoot the next day. I was at my breaking point. I have so much on my plate, and some of the women just push."
