“Vanderpump Rules” will look a lot different next time it premieres on Bravo.
After 11 seasons spanning from 2013 to 2023, they have decided it’s time for the original cast to move on and for some new stars to emerge.
During an interview with Vanity Fair where Lady Gaga answered numerous questions during a Lie Detector Test, she was asked if she’s excited about a new cast for Bravo’s hit show.
“No,” she said, but quickly changed her answer to yes before going back to no again.
The results were inconclusive.
She was then asked who she will miss most from the original cast.
“Scheana,” Lady Gaga answered.
Schenea Shay has starred on the show since the first season alongside other longtime cast members including Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, and James Kennedy
Would Lady Gaga Consider Joining ‘The Real Housewives’?

During the Lie Detector Test, Lady Gaga was asked numerous questions about reality television, one of which was if she would consider ever being a Real Housewife.
The singer gave a simple and candid answer.
“No,” she responded.
The polygraph examiner followed it up by asking if her answer would change based on the tribute she received on “The Real Housewives of New York City” in season 10, episode 1. Lady Gaga was also shown the photo where one of the women dressed as her for a female icons inspired party.
“That would make me feel scared, to like, being on reality TV,” she replied. “This makes me feel scared.”
Scheana Shay Admits What She Will Miss About ‘Vanderpump Rules’
Despite all the drama on “Vanderpump Rules,” the stars were one big family. And that’s exactly how Shay described it when reflecting on the show during the December 27 episode of the “Scheananagins With Scheana Shay” podcast.
“Any sad feelings that I have about not returning for season 12 are mostly not being able to work with that crew,” she said. “I love the crew that we’ve had, and hopefully we’ll be able to work together on other projects because we became like a family. So that was definitely the hardest part.”
“And the whole thing was bittersweet and sad to say goodbye, but excited for the new SURvers and the next chapter of their lives,” Shay added. “But I will miss seeing so many people on the crew, definitely. and I’m excited for new opportunities ahead outside of ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ but I’m also a nostalgic person and it’s never easy to say goodbye. Honestly, it all feels right. It’s still all happening, it’s just happening a little differently.”
She also shared a post on Instagram on November 26, 2024, after the news was announced that they would be rebooting the show with a new cast.
“The end of an era, and the start of something new ✨I don’t even know where to begin….well maybe first off, thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me 😂 We had one hell of a run! I never could have imagined while shooting the pilot for VPR that it would become what it has, nor go on for as long as it did. To the fans who’ve been with us from the beginning, and to everyone who joined along the way, THANK YOU. Putting our lives out there isn’t always easy, but every time one of y’all reached out to say our stories resonated with you made it all worth it! To our amazing crew at @evolutionusa, @bravotv, and @nbcuniversal — thank you for the experience of a lifetime. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities this show has generated and for the memories we’ve made along the way. We truly have worked with the best cast, crew and been part of so many special moments in each other’s lives. Cheers to the next chapter! The rest is still unwritten…😉, Shay wrote on Instagram.
