Lala Kent Reveals Her Interest in Joining Southern Charm and Health Update After Pre-Cancerous Eye Diagnosis

Lala Kent, Vanderpump Rules star and fan favorite, is making headlines once again—this time, revealing her interest in joining Southern Charm and offering fans a major health update after her recent pre-cancerous eye diagnosis.

While Lala was fired along with the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast after season 11, rumors are swirling that she may make her way to The Valley for season three, especially after Jax Taylor’s exit. Filming for the spinoff is reportedly about to begin, fueling speculation about Lala’s next move.

In a recent Amazon Live session, Lala was asked which reality show she would love to be a part of. Without hesitation, she responded, “I think I would want to be on Southern Charm because it’s the closest thing to Vanderpump Rules.” She went on to describe the dynamics of the show as “very real, honest, and easy,” adding that “these people are hanging out whether there’s a camera up or not.” Lala further shared, “That would be my go-to.”

While Lala acknowledged that her casting would be a stretch due to her lack of ties to Charleston, she shared that she’s had interactions with several Southern Charm stars, including Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, and Madison LeCroy. “I love all of the cast. They’re so nice,” she said. “I had really good conversations with Craig and Austen this year at one of the upfront shoots that we filmed… I’m not gonna tell you what that conversation was like, but maybe if they touch on it on their show, I can spill the tea.”

Lala also gave insight into her communication with the Southern Charm cast, saying, “Craig and I go back and forth on DMs. Austen and I go back and forth on DMs. I love Madison. She and I do the same thing. Any time I see them at BravoCon, it’s always so happy and fun. So those are the three I talk to the most.”

When asked by a fan about potentially appearing with Tom Schwartz on Summer House, Lala responded with excitement, “From your lips — or your keyboard — to Bravo’s ears. That would be so fun!” She also shared her thoughts on Paige DeSorbo’s exit from the show. “I love Summer House. I’m so curious to see what it’s going to be like without Paige DeSorbo. She’s iconic, and everyone loves watching her. Even if she didn’t say anything, she’s just so aesthetically pleasing… Boss chick.”

On a more personal note, Lala shared some truly heartwarming news about her health. She revealed on Instagram that she has completed her third and final round of topical chemo drops for her eye. “I went to the doctor yesterday, and the physician was thrilled with the results. They cleared me,” she shared with her followers. “I felt an overwhelming amount of gratitude, happiness, and peace. They just want to see me every four months, but God willing, everything stays good. So I’m really happy.”
