Lala Kent is once again expanding her pod — that is, if all goes according to plan.
Less than a year after giving birth to her second child, the Vanderpump Rules alum opened up about her life as a single mom and her desire to have at least one more child in the near future.
“It is so fulfilling and it’s difficult, but we’re a well-oiled machine,” she said in a recent interview with Parents magazine. “And I just don’t think I’m done. I think I need one more. I am loving it so much that I’m not ready for the stages to be over as they pass.”
Lala Kent may soon welcome baby No. 3: "The universe has a plan for me"
Lala and her ex-fiancé welcomed their first child, Ocean Kent Emmett, in 2021. Several years later, the former SUR hostess gave birth to her second daughter, Sosa Kent, who was conceived through intrauterine insemination (IUI). Lala said she wanted her children to be relatively close in age, which is why she would prefer to get pregnant within the next year.
“I think that’s a good age gap,” she said, pointing out that Sosa would be around 2 once baby No. 3 arrived. “I didn’t love that Ocean and Sosa are three and a half years apart. I like sticking to the two-and-a-half range. But you know what? The universe has a plan for me, and we just roll with it.”
Lala Kent's oldest daughter, Ocean, wants "five more" siblings
Lala said her firstborn, Ocean, was also enjoying her big sister role, so much so that she would like Lala to have “five more babies.”
“Ocean is only 4, but she’s always seemed like an old soul and just wise beyond her years,” Lala said. “When Sosa came into the mix, it just gave Ocean a different level of confidence. She really enjoys helping me out, even throwing away a dirty diaper. That was huge for her. She’s like, ‘I touched a poopy diaper!’ She really sunk into becoming a little caretaker, and it’s adorable to watch.”

Lala spoke about a potential third pregnancy during her November 2024 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, nearly three months after Sosa was born. Lala suggested she would take the IUI route again, as she still had sperm from the donor she used to conceive Sosa.
“I think I’m gonna do it… If I have a third, what’s one more?” she told Andy Cohen. “I had 17 vials of the donor’s goods. And I got pregnant off of one, so I still got 16 more.”
