Although she’s fully embraced her natural hair era, Lala Kent has started to miss her signature blonde look.
The Vanderpump Rules alum admitted this during her February 4 Amazon Live stream, which used one of her older pictures for the thumbnail.
Lala Kent wants to "chop" her hair and go platinum blond
“That picture for this Amazon Live made me miss my blond hair a lot. Like, a lot, a lot,” she said before requesting the audience's input. “Do we like the natural-looking hair? By the way, my grays are popping with this natural hair. I have to do root touchups. Or do we go blond again? I don’t know. I’m torn.”
While it’s unclear if Lala will dye her hair in the immediate future, she envisioned a drastic change in the upcoming years.
“This is what I do want to do, though, you guys,” she began. “I think I want to get my hair healthy again; then, when I turn 40 — which is in five years, but that will fly by — I want to chop it and do the bleachest of platinum blond ever with a dark root and have a slicked-back moment. I’m already planning for 40. What is going on?”
Lala Kent reflects on her previous look: "Loving that"
Lala said the aforementioned throwback photo was taken right after she split from her ex-fiancé — a time when she started upping her beauty regimen to gain more confidence.
“My face there was freshly injected. Loving that. I was still wearing the [fake] lashes,” she said. “I don’t know what happened. For some reason, there was just a moment in time where I was like, ‘You know what...’ I was fresh off of my breakup, I needed my swag back. And now — not saying that I want to look homely or anything like that — I just feel so comfortable and confident in the way that my life is. I want to do more natural hair.”
Lala Kent says she's given up cosmetic injectables... for now
Lala insisted she's no longer using fake eyelashes and has not received cosmetic injections since she became pregnant with her second daughter, Sosa Kent. However, she told fans the injections would resume once she stopped breastfeeding.
“I’m just wanting the more natural. And maybe it’s just time-consuming,” she said. “I don’t want to put on the big fake lashes. I don’t want to do the full glam.”
She continued: “However, I went to Brittany [Cartwright’s] birthday party and everyone looked so beautiful. They were fully glammed, they were in beautiful dresses. I used the restroom and I looked in the mirror, and compared to everyone else, I looked like I went swimming. I’m like, ‘We probably should’ve put a little more face on. Just, like, a tad so it doesn’t look like you just rolled out of bed and put a gown on.”
