Las Vegas Raiders' offense should receive a big boost soon despite needing it to remain bad

The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the worst teams in the league with maybe the worst offense in the league. They have failed to have any sort of consistency on that side of the ball all year long, and they likely won't any time soon.

However, they could get a big boost in terms of having a big offensive game in one of their upcoming matchups.

The Raiders got some big news on Tuesday, and, while the news is great, it's also kind of not. It's only going to make them better, and if you're like me, you want them to lose as much as possible so they can finally start the rebuild with the franchise quarterback.

According to the Raiders, tight end Michael Mayer, who is in his second season and has been out for a while now due to personal reasons, is set to come back within the next few weeks.

Mayer was put on IR on October 11. The Raiders have primarily run everything through Brock Bowers since then.

Now, they have another option for Gardner Minshew, or whoever the quarterback will be, to go to. The Raiders play the Miami Dolphins next after a much-needed bye week that followed a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
