Las Vegas Raiders offensive line may get a huge break in Week 4 against the Browns

The Las Vegas Raiders looked horrid on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Usually, under Antonio Pierce, they are always great on at least one side of the ball, that just so happens to be the defense most of the time. Neither showed up against the supposed worst team in the NFL.Image

The Raiders cannot come out like that against the Cleveland Browns, no matter what their record is. They are a team with a roster good enough to beat anyone in the league, they just have had their own fair share of struggles, as have the Raiders.

So, going into this game, the Raiders will need any and every advantage they can get. They are already getting one advantage with standout and former All-Pro guard Wyatt Teller being out on Cleveland's side. Now, they could get another big advantage, one that will give the offensive line a bit of a break. We all know they certainly need it.

The Raiders have had one of the worst offensive lines in the league, in both the run and pass game. Against the Panthers, they allowed guys who were undrafted free agents and guys who don't maybe have the star power they do, to dominate. And, hey, respect to those guys, because they were better on Sunday and obviously wanted it more.

Against the Browns, there is a possibility they will be going up against the third-best defensive end in the league. Of course, I'm joking about the third-best title, Myles Garrett is certainly top-three with most people having him as No. 1.

Either way, he will wreck games, but as he deals with an injury, there is some potential that the Browns may go without him on Sunday.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Browns have listed Garrett as day-to-day, as he deals with a foot/ankle injury.

"Myles is battling every day," Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "We feel he will continue to do that.”

Let's say Garrett does play, him being not at 100% is still an advantage the Raiders have. That's still the offensive line getting more of a break than they would initially get.
