Exciting news!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, the two have gotten married and welcomed three children: Alessi and twins Senna and Lux.
And earlier this year the couple announced that they are currently expecting another baby girl!
Now, in a new Instagram Story, Arie answered fan questions about their family.
One person asked if they have a baby name picked out and he said, “Yes!!!! At least I think so. We’ve landed on a name a few times, but then Lauren changes her mind. I think this last one is the one though.”
He also revealed that Lauren is officially in her third trimester and they are starting to really get ready for baby!
Another fan asked if they will show their season of “The Bachelor” to their kids when they are older and Arie revealed that they already have.
He said, “We watched a few minutes with Alessi a few weeks ago (obviously fast forwarded to the parts with just Mom and Dad). She wanted to watch more, but I couldn’t handle it lol. I’ve never liked watching myself on TV, I get super embarrassed.”
Arie also recently opened up to E! News about the decision to share their kids on social media.
He said, “I do feel like it gives other parents inspiration with the activities that we do with them and how we raise them. But we wrestle with it, honestly, because we are a public family. We have our kids online and that’s something that we do struggle with — the choice between not showing your kids and showing your kids to the world.”
The former Bachelor said that when their kids are a bit older, they may decide to show less of them online, “but for now, we’re comfortable with it.”
We love seeing the Luyendyk family thrive and continue to grow. Sending them love as they enter the third trimester!
