Lennox Lewis Didn’t Hesitate When Asked If Oleksandr Usyk Would Beat A Prime Mike Tyson

Retired boxing legend Lennox Lewis has been asked to predict the winner of a fantasy fight between a prime [/tag]Mike Tyson[/tag] and Oleksandr Usyk.

A clash between these two stars of the sport is a fight that would be intriguing indeed. It would be a classic battle between the raw power and aggression of Tyson, and the slick skills of Ukrainian stylist and former Olympic gold medalist Usyk.

Tyson is famous for having knocked out so many of his opponents early on in his fights on his way to becoming the youngest ever world heavyweight champion aged just 20.

Usyk is less known for his stoppages and more for his superb defences and ability to out-point anyone. He is unbeaten in his professional career so far and has held the undisputed titles in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions after most recently defeating Tyson Fury back in May.

In a game of winner stays on with MailSport Boxing, Lewis – himself a former undisputed world heavyweight champion – was asked to pick a winner between ‘Iron’ Mike and Usyk and he went with Tyson – the man he stopped way back in 2002.

Now 58, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ is set to return to the ring in November when he controversially takes on a man not half his age in Jake Paul, live on Netflix. The fight takes place over eight two-minute rounds and will appear on both men’s professional records.
