Summer House star Lexi Wood stayed tight-lipped when asked about when exactly she dated Drake.
During the Wednesday, May 7, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Lexi, 27, was asked by host Andy Cohen about “the timeline” of her “dating” Drake, 38. Lexi let out a laugh before she replied, “Can I take a sip and pass [on] this one?'”
Based on the reaction from the Clubhouse — and Lexi’s pointed look into the camera — there appeared to be more to the story. The Bravo newbie’s alleged past with the rapper was brought up by her ex and costar Jesse Solomon weeks before her WWHL appearance.
“Listen, the people are saying I came on strong, but I think Lexi matched my energy,” he shared on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast in April. “When you’re going for a girl who’s dated Drake, you’re not going to get her by playing it cool.”
Jesse continued: “Like, my style is aggressive, and I’m not going to be anybody but myself. So watching it back, I guess I was love bombing, but I’m learning about love bombing now. So yeah, I’m trying to be better the next time around.”
Bravo fans have watched Lexi and Jesse’s romance go from zero to 100 after she joined Summer House as a new cast member during season 9. Despite their instant connection, Jesse, 31, and Lexi quickly hit obstacles due to apparent “yellow flags” in their relationship. Jesse alleged that Lexi made him unfollow women on social media and asked him to stop commenting on other girls’ posts.
Lexi, for her part, wasn’t thrilled to see how Jesse was flirting with their housemate Ciara Miller — or to hear that he got his toe sucked by another woman during a weekend when she was out of town. Last month, Lexi hinted to Us Weekly that she was looking forward to hashing things out with her costars during the Summer House reunion.
“I think my main goal is really just to end the reunion stronger than when we all went in with the majority of the house,” she exclusively told Us, joking, “Except maybe one person.”exi said she didn’t regret how she approached her relationship with Jesse, adding, “I’m a lover, and that’s honestly how a lot of my past relationships have moved. They go fast. I’m friends with a lot of my exes and I’m so happy for them when they move on and it’s all great. … I think the house is so close that I think everything will inevitably end up with everybody in the house anyway, so it’s always better just to get everything on the table.”
While she isn’t spilling any details on her ties to Drake, Lexi has been candid about her past romance with Brooklyn Beckham.
Summer House airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Peacock.
