Lindsay Hubbard isn’t convinced that her relationship with boyfriend Turner Kufe would’ve lasted as long as it has if it weren’t for her getting pregnant just months into the romance.
After the latest episode of Summer House saw Carl Radke, 40, calling out Lindsay, 38, for celebrating their August 2023 breakup and hosting a freedom dinner for their castmates, a sneak peek at the upcoming finale episode features Lindsay making a shocking revelation about Turner, who she continues to live separately from, with Paige DeSorbo, 32, and Amanda Batula, 33.
“If I didn’t get pregnant, I don’t know if we would have stayed together,” Lindsay admits in a preview for the May 21 episode.
“Wow,” Paige replies.
During Wednesday’s episode of Summer House, which was filmed on the one-year anniversary of Lindsay and Carl’s breakup, the former couple butted heads over an Instagram post Lindsay shared and the dinner she hosted.
“I would like to acknowledge that this is probably the most impactful day of my life, that changed the course of the rest of my life, forever,” Lindsay told Lexi Wood, 27, and Gabby Prescod, 34, on the way to the Hamptons.
She also shared a post on Instagram ahead of their arrival.
“What a difference a year makes. Today is the one year anniversary of the day that changed the course of my life forever,” she captioned the August 2024 message. “When I think back to this day last year, it was one of the most difficult, humiliating & traumatic events of my adult life. But although the unknown of my future was terrifying… One year later, I can honestly say I am happier than I have ever been because I focused on my own goals, success and happiness.”
Lindsay went on to say that she was “proud of just how much [she] accomplished in this last year” as she detailed a timeline of events, including the January 2024 start of her relationship with Turner and the April 2024 news of her pregnancy.

Unsurprisingly, Lindsay’s post made waves among the group, including with Carl, who was made privy to her message before she arrived at the house.
Once Lindsay arrived, she announced that she would be hosting a “freedom dinner.”
“Because [the breakup] set me free and allowed me to go pursue everything that I’ve pursued this past year. Now all my dreams are coming true. And they wouldn’t have happened if I was still in that relationship,” she declared.
Then, during the meal, Lindsay brought up her IG post.
“I didn’t look at Instagram. But I was sent it. Several times,” Carl confirmed. “Thank you for reminding everybody about last year. Publicly. In paragraph after paragraph after paragraph. Stating a reality that I don’t think was reality, so, great job.”
According to Carl, he didn’t feel the need to post about the split himself.
“Why not? It was a terrible, horrible, awful day for me,” Lindsay told him.
“For me as well,” he replied. “I’m just saying, I find it interesting you post a year later. You’re with someone else. You’re pregnant. You’re moved on.”
Carl then suggested she was “harboring” feelings, but Lindsay quickly denied any such thing.
“I actually reflected and cried about how much I achieved in this past year,” she clarified.
Although Carl admitted he was “really proud” of Lindsay, he made it clear that he did not approve of her post.
“I think the post is a little much. I don’t think celebrating what happened last year–” he began to say, and Lindsay then cut him off.
“Who said anyone’s celebrating?” Lindsay clapped back. “Lexi and Jesse just went through a tough moment. Guess what? You are also free…we’re all free. A lot’s happened in this past year. It was a very traumatic day. Humiliating, quite frankly. But, I am pregnant, and that is the best thing that could have ever happened to me, and I don’t think that would have happened if we didn’t break up.”
“So, honestly, Carl, thank you for setting me free, so that I could go and accomplish my dreams,” she continued with a toast.
“I could only dream that you’re happy, and I’m happy,” Carl responded. “And I feel like we’ve accomplished that.”
