Lindsay Hubbard opened up about Kyle Cooke and Craig Conover‘s spritz feud while appearing on a podcast days ago.
After wrapping the ninth season of Summer House, Lindsay, 38, who is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Turner Kufe, addressed Kyle, 42, and Craig’s drama, reacted to Carl Radke‘s claims about her ruining a photoshoot Paige DeSorbo, 31, was part of, and shared how it was filming with her former fiance as she also spoke of Danielle Olivera‘s exit from the show and her thoughts on marriage.
“There was one conversation, but I think after that one conversation, it was squashed. Well, actually, I guess there were two conversations,” Lindsay confirmed on the September 10 episode of The Toast. “When Craig came to visit, I actually was gone that weekend but I do know that there was that second conversation.”
“I don’t think you guys have anything to worry about,” Lindsay added, signaling host Claudia Oshry, the front person for Spritz Society, who accused Kyle of refusing to compensate Craig and other Bravolebrities who’ve promoted his products after Kyle slammed Craig for partnering with a competing brand.
Looking back on Carl, 39, claiming she sabotaged Paige’s photoshoot, Lindsay first said she had “no idea what” her ex-boyfriend was talking about.
“I was like, ‘You’re such a liar I can’t even deal with it.’ I, to this day, have no idea what photoshoot,” she alleged.
She then explained what prompted Carl to lash out.
“Here’s what happened: I did that big Us Weekly spread with my side of the story after the breakout. It came out right before BravoCon. It really pissed off Carl. He then went to Paige and was talking all this sh*t and spewing all these lies at BravoCon about something that literally never happened. And in fact, my best friend, I guess that photoshoot was at one of her venues and she’s the one who approved it,” Lindsay revealed. “I’m like, ‘What are you talking about? So you’re saying my best friend called me and was like, “Hey, Paige is doing a photoshoot at one of my venues,” and I’m like, “Hey cool, sounds good. Whatever.”’ Now you’re turning that into me sabotaging a photoshoot? I don’t even know where the photoshoot was.”
While she and Carl had quite the messy split in August 2023, Lindsay said that filming was surprisingly civil between them.
“It is absolutely not normal, especially that serious of a relationship. This isn’t a high school relationship. It was an actual, we’re gonna go get married and then I was basically dumped at the article and then decided, ‘Yeah, let’s share a house together.’ [But] it was fine,” she shared. “He was very respectful, as he should be, considering how much lack of respect he had in that breakup.”
“There was never any time that we were having these moments of, like, we were never together alone. Nor did I want to be,” she added.
Lindsay also didn’t attend Carl’s launch party for his new sober bar.
“I was really busy that day,” she explained, noting that she doesn’t need a soft bar in her life.
“Even as a pregnant lady, I probably want to go to a normal restaurant bar with my friends. And I’ll have a Diet Coke or something,” she suggested.
As for Danielle, 35, who announced her departure from her full-time role on Summer House in June, Lindsay revealed that Danielle did film for season nine.
“She’s around. I don’t know what label they’re putting on her but she’s been around this summer, just not as much,” she said. “I think she just needed a break. Obviously, this is a pretty intense filming schedule, especially over the summer and we don’t really get many breaks. We literally like, film the reunion, the rest of the season airs, the reunion airs, and then two weeks later we’re back to filming and there’s just no chill with our schedule and filming and airing and I think she just wanted to focus on her company.”
“Honestly, I was a little jealous. I was like, ‘Oh, how was your free summer? Did you travel? Did you enjoy yourself?” she continued.
Looking ahead to her future with Turner, Lindsay said she was hopeful that they’d be together forever.
“In my mind, the engagement, and the marriage, and the babies, in that order, was that fairytale life that I’d always dreamt of, and then when I think about it now, I think, ‘No. This is what I’ve always dreamt of, is like, the family, and the babies.’ And if the guy, if it works out, it’s great and I hope it does,” she shared. “I really do hope that it works out with him and that there is the word ‘forever’ attached with our relationship. But if not, I got my fairytale.”
Summer House season nine is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
