Lisa Vanderpump is serving up an update on the Bravo series' new group of SUR-vers after the cast was entirely rebooted for its upcoming 12th season.
"It's moving along at a very fast pace," the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star exclusively told E! News co-hosts Justin Sylvester and Keltie Knight of the show—which is currently filming—during the May 8 broadcast. "But it's totally different to the original show. Of course, it has to be different. That story had been told."
But the new team of staffers at Lisa's SUR restaurant will definitely be bringing the same amount of drama as the O.G. Bravo cast.
"You could film that show 365 days a year," the 64-year-old noted. "There are a few people that have worked there for years that obviously come with their own problems, and then there's some new people joining in."
But Lisa refuses to pick a favorite between the original and new casts.
"I can't say that yet," the restauranteur added. "Different. You can say different."
These days, Lisa is busy hosting her Hulu reality show Vanderpump Villa. She even re-teamed with former VPR star Stassi Schroeder for the recent second season for the first time since Stassi left the show in 2020 on not-so-great terms.

"I wanted her, I thought she'd be great," Lisa confessed of their rekindled friendship. "She needed to come back to reality television and I needed somebody to play with."
Lisa also addressed her long-standing feud with former bestie and RHOBH star Kyle Richards. As it turns out, a reconciliation could be in their future.
"We had so much fun," Lisa reflected. "I miss that part, I don't miss all the negativity and the nastiness and the shouting and the accusations. I miss the fun part, which is what I signed up for. Now, I'm having fun on Vanderpump Villa and Vanderpump Rules. A little hot and spicy."
As for Kyle recently revealing she nearly bought a house across the street from Lisa's Bel-Air mansion amid her breakup from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky, the SUR owner would rather be neighbors with another diamond-holder.
"I think I'll have to have Dorit [Kemsley]," she said with a laugh. "Sorry!"
Season two of Vanderpump Villa and the Vanderpump Villa reunion special can be streamed now on Hulu.
