Love Is Blind Contestant Tyler Francis’ Criminal History Revealed

Tyler Francis for Love is Blind Season 7The past is coming back to haunt Love Is Blind star Tyler Francis. While we were watching him find love with Ashley Adionser on Season 7, nosey fans were busy digging into his history. In addition to those three kids he tried to keep under wraps, he also has a surprising criminal record.

Tyler’s journey on Love is Blind Season 7 has been bumpy. In Episode 9, he revealed to Ashley that he fathered three children. He made it seem like he donated sperm, but the kids’ mom has shared a different take in a since-deleted Instagram post. On the other hand, his criminal past is a little more cut and dry.

Life & Style did a deep dive into Tyler’s past and discovered he got busted for DUI in 2008. The cops slapped him with three misdemeanor charges: DUI with a BAC of .08 or more, DUI – liquor/drugs/vapors/combo, and extreme DUI – BAC of .15 or more. On top of that, they added on a reckless driving charge and a misdemeanor speeding violation.

Fortunately for Tyler, he didn’t injure anyone in his drunken escapade. Plus, all of five his charges wound up getting dropped. However, it’s another piece of his background that he seemingly swept under the rug on the show.

With that said, this isn’t the first Love is Blind star with a questionable background. A Season 5 contestant claimed producers partnered her up with a man who lied about his background and turned out to be jobless, emotionally abusive, and hooked on drugs. She wound up suing the production company.

Of course, the revelations about Tyler pale in comparison to the Season 5 debacle, but it’s hard not to think about the cycle of messiness following this show. Season after season, there’s always something.

Love is Blind Season 7 is streaming on Netflix.
