Leo Braudy's love for Ally Shapiro isn't blind, just platonic.

Exclusive | How Jill Zarin set up daughter Ally Shapiro with BFF Leo Braudy

One month after the Love Is Blind alum re-ignited dating rumors with Jill Zarin's daughter, he revealed where they actually stand.

"It's just a friendship," Leo, an art dealer, explained on the Feb. 24 episode of Page Six'Virtual Reali-Tea. "We are really, really good friends. She's awesome. It's funny because we have so much in common. Reality show stuff, art stuff. She actually worked at an auction house for a long time."

"Even more than that, we just get along very well," he continued. "From the moment we met, it was very much like, 'We're gonna be really good friends.' We could tell.'"

However, he did admit that the two first tried their hand at a romantic relationship after the Real Housewives of New York City alum messaged him with an invitation to meet Ally, who recently called off her engagement to Jordan Bilfeld.

"She was like, 'We live in Miami,'" Leo recalled of the DM. "I happened to be going down to Miami for Art Basel. Her message was actually really nice. She was like, 'Look, whether you date or are just friends, I really think you two would get along.'"

He noted that Jill was right, adding, "The moment that we met, I felt like we had known each other for years."

Since making that decision, however, the 31-year-old also added that he hasn't been dating much. As he put it, "I've been shockingly boring."

Ally, 32, who first sparked romance rumors with Leo while attending Art Basel in December, shared more snaps together last month that appeared to confirm their romance. She captioned the photos with three kissing emojis and continued, "or 'muah muah muah.'"

Fans were especially curious as Leo, who starred in season seven of the Netflix series, raised eyebrows while navigating a love triangle with Hannah Jiles and Brittany Wisniewski onscreen. After getting engaged with the former, the pair didn't make it down the aisle. But the decision was seemingly mutual.

"It was sort of a process that we were thinking through the whole time," Leo told People in October. "In the beginning of the trip, you're on this high because you've never seen this person. There's so much to talk about. You're free."

"As things settle down, you're like, 'Okay, we're here. You're wearing my ring on your finger. Let's talk about this,'" he continued. "We had a lot of conversations throughout the trip, and mutually came to the conclusion that we just didn't see it turning into marriage."
