Marissa George's eyes have been opened by a new love.
Days after appearing on the Love Is Blind season seven reunion alongside her former fiancé Ramses Prashad, the reality star went public with a new romance. And in true "hard-launch" fashion, Marissa and her boyfriend did it all while wearing space-themed Halloween costumes.
In a video set to Taylor Swift's "You Are In Love," Marissa passionately kissed her man as he cheekily brush his hand across her backside. She was clad in a skimpy astronaut costume, while he dressed up as a space cowboy.
"Life has a funny way of surprising you," Marissa captioned the Nov. 1 clip. "I never expected to fall in love again, let alone with someone who embraces all my energy and flaws."
Without revealing her boyfriend's name, the law school graduate continued, "When we first met, I asked him if I was too much. He looked at me, confused, and said, 'What do you mean?'"
"I simply replied, 'Nevermind,'" she added, "and from that moment on, I never questioned my energy again."
This is Marissa's first relationship since her breakup with Ramses, who called off their engagement right before their wedding day. The exes came face-to-face during the Love Is Blind reunion special on Oct. 30, though Marissa accused Ramses of avoiding her gaze.
"He won't even look me in the eye," she told E! News at the reunion, adding that the two "probably" won't be friends following Ramses' behavior at the taping. "What I learned from Ramses and our relationship—and what I definitely do not want in my next relationship—is a partner who shuts down emotionally, and isn't ready to fully commit and work through the really hard things."
For his part, Ramses said he never meant to lead Marissa on.
"The reason why it even got so far is because my heart really wanted to walk down that aisle and see Marissa coming down that aisle as well," the program associate told E! News in a separate interview, "but I had to recognize just where our fundamental differences were."
He added, "It's difficult to see and hear—even now—how much that heartbreak has affected her."
