We're one step away from the altar on Season 7 of Love Is Blind. As the cast members of the reality TV show are counting down the days, we'll see which of the engaged couples will actually make it all the way to their "I dos."
In this episode, we see the group try to talk through any outstanding issues in their relationships. Once things are smoothed over, they get to move forward with something more exciting—shopping for their suits and wedding dresses
Hannah And Nick Argue Over Katie
We pick up immediately after the couples return home from the 1920s-themed group party. Hannah grills Nick about his conversation with Katie, wanting to know what they talked about. When Nick tries to brush it off, telling Hannah that Katie's her friend and she can just ask her about it, she grows frustrated. Nick pushes her until she snaps at him:
Are you mature enough, Nick? Because I've taught you f****** everything you know. I turned you from a boy into a f****** man. I have done everything for you.
Hannah tells Nick that, while she trusts him, she feels that his actions that evening didn't show her respect. Nick seems to laugh in her face when she says this, and she heads off to bed, feeling unheard.
Later, Hannah and Nick meet up with Hannah's friends, and Nick tells them about his dating background. Before long, Hannah and Nick get into an argument in front of her friends about Nick's failure to be "honest and upfront" with her. Hannah's friends point out that the things Hannah's hoping will change are small actions on Nick's part, not changing the essence of who he is.
The next day, Hannah meets with her mom before wedding dress shopping, reporting that her friends didn't like Nick and that she's increasingly concerned that the two of them are too different. Because of her worries, she decides to opt out of dress shopping with the group to reflect on her relationship instead.
Later, Nick and Hannah have private conversation, where Hannah asks if he actually believes he's grown in the time they've been together. "You just can't see how I feel," she pleads with him, but Nick once again says that she's just trying to "demean" him. Hannah reveals that when she told Nick she didn't they should go suit and dress shopping, his main concern was what they would tell the others when they didn't show, not his fiancée's feelings.
In the end, Hannah tells Nick she's not willing to marry him, and he expresses his regret over things not working out:
I thought I was good enough for you, and I was wrong the whole time. I thought you understood me, and I was wrong the whole time. I thought you were ready to get married. I love you, you know? It's gonna suck.
Taylor And Garrett Work Through The Ex Texts
Taylor tells the cameras that, after her argument with Garrett about responding to a text from his ex, they stayed up the entire night and work through it. Now on the other side of it, the two are still on track to introduce Garrett to her family, feeling like things are better between them once more. They meet with Taylor's mom, Fong, who cries happy tears about her daughter's engagement.
Meanwhile, after a go-karting date, Ashley tells Tyler that she feels the "shock has worn off" of Tyler dropping the news that he's the sperm donor of three other kids. As long as no other cats jump out of the bag, she says, she's committed to getting married, showing that they, too, are back on track.
The Women Go Wedding Dress Shopping
The cast members split up to go suit and wedding dress shopping with their close family and friends. While Marissa tries on dresses, her mother admits that she's started to warm to Ramses, noting that he seems "genuine" to her. Taylor's mother helps her choose her perfect dress, opting for one that feels "understated" and "unique" just like her.
Post-shopping, Marissa and Ramses go on a hot tub boat ride to enjoy one of their last dates before they officially tie the knot. Ramses also points out that he feels Marissa's mom is warming to him, and the two brainstorm for what gift to bring her the next time they all get together. Marissa divulges that she's been extremely busy between law school and wedding planning, and that sometimes she wishes Ramses would step up and do more.
For his part, Ramses admits some of the planning doesn't feel like "that big of a deal," to which Marissa wants to hold him accountable, making sure he doesn't slip out of duties just because he's the man in the relationship.
Meanwhile, Ashley and Tyler go on an outing to take the ultimate "leap of faith" by going skydiving together. Though Tyler is nervous at first, they both love it after they try it, vowing that they'd do it again without a second thought. Afterward, the two share an outdoor picnic, where they both reaffirm how ready they feel for marriage.
At the end of the episode, we pick back up with Ramses and Marissa, just two days out from the wedding. Ramses is clearly in his head about something based on conversations with other people he's had, though we don't know exactly what. Marissa is sympathetic towards him, though she also appears confused that he could be so full of doubt so close to their big day.
When Ramses says he doesn't want things to end in divorce between them, Marissa says she doesn't want that, either, but that it's a risk that people take whenever they choose to fall in love and become committed to one another. As we wonder if yet another couple this season is headed for a breakup, the episode ends, and fans will have to wait until next Wednesday to see who actually makes it to the altar.
