‘Love Is Blind’s Ashley Calls Out Tyler as a “Pathological Liar” Over Sperm Donor Scandal — “Those Wounds Will Never Heal”

Ashley Adionser is finally telling her side of the story regarding her split from husband Tyler Francis and his paternity scandal. The Love Is Blind Season 7 star announced in January that she and Francis were divorcing.

That news came three months after Francis was exposed for a major controversy involving his past as a sperm donor for one of his female friends. While he insisted that he only donated sperm for his friend to have three children and said he was not involved in the kids’ lives, photos showed him spending time with them, and their mother claimed that he was an involved father figure… until he left to film the Netflix show.

“I found the truth myself,” Adionser said on the What’s the Reality? podcast. What truth is that, exactly? “He is a sperm donor for the son. To my knowledge, he fathered the twins,” she claimed.

Once she found this out, Adionser said her marriage to Francis was “impacted” right away. “Now I have to question the person I’m laying next to,” she added. “And I think that that’s such a scary feeling to not know what’s true, what’s not true. He’s a pathological liar. And I was looking at this man like, ‘Who are you?’ And if we don’t have the two biggest things in a marriage, which are trust and honesty, then what do we have?”

The reality TV alum also addressed her decision to stand by Francis when the scandal first went public in the fall of 2024. She explained that, at first, everybody involved in the show believed that he was merely a sperm donor who had been helping out a friend.

“When it first came out, when we had the conversation about the sperm donor on camera, but the whole camera crew was, like, crying. People came up to him afterwards and thanked him essentially for his service,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Francis previously insisted that he “wasn’t active” in the kids’ lives and tried to explain why there were photos that appeared to show him being heavily involved with them. “If I create a montage of all the things that I’ve done in my life playing basketball, I can make it look like I’m a professional basketball player, absolutely. But to take these pictures over the past five, six, years, you can make it look like I’m very active [as a father], and they’re doin that,” he claimed.

After Adionser announced her split from Francis, he followed up with a statement where he said, “I take full responsibility for my role in the difficulties we faced, and I respect Ashley’s decision to move forward in a way that prioritizes her peace and happiness. Ashley is an incredible woman, and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the love and support she has given me. I ask for kindness and understanding as we both move forward separately, focusing on healing and growth. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey.”
