Maci Bookout McKinney Shares Heartwarming Family Moment Ahead of Back-to-School

Maci Bookout McKinney, star of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, recently shared an adorable snapshot of her growing family as her three children geared up for their first day of school. The 34-year-old mom captured the moment with a sweet photo of Bentley, 16, standing tall between his younger siblings, 10-year-old Jayde and 9-year-old Maverick.

Bentley, who Maci shares with ex Ryan Edwards, is growing up so quickly. The reality star shares Maverick and Jayde with her husband, Taylor McKinney.

The Bookout-McKinney family has also been making waves with a recent vacation, where Ryan Edwards, Maci's ex, and his fiancée Amanda Conner joined the family for some sunshine and fun. Ryan shared vacation photos showing the kids bonding, with Amanda and Maci also enjoying a moment together. Amanda took to social media to share her happiness about the blended family dynamic, writing, "See… you can be a blended family🤗 but only if you want what’s best for your children ❤️."

Reflecting on her journey as a mother, Maci opened up to PEOPLE earlier this year, marking 16 years since 16 & Pregnant. She reminisced about Bentley’s early days, stating, "On one hand, it feels like it was yesterday that I brought Bentley home from the hospital as a newborn with a full camera crew — that I seemed to not even notice because I was so in awe of Benny."

She continued, "On the other hand, I’ve lived a thousand lifetimes, and I’m still in awe of him for so many new reasons that I’ve found along the way. He’s a very special human. I’m very lucky."
