Ryan Edwards’ return to the Teen Mom franchise hasn’t been without hiccups. While the troubled Tennessee resident has moved on to a new relationship, he has some loose ends to tie up with his last serious romance. Ryan Edwards’ soon-to-be-ex-wife, Mackenzie Standifer, has officially filed for back child support. She claims Edwards is earning a ton of money each month. He reportedly isn’t using any of it to support his children, though.

Mackenzie Standifer seeks child support from Ryan Edwards

Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards’ divorce has not been finalized, and neither has a custody agreement. While she waits for that to go through, the mother of three is done waiting on Edwards to voluntarily provide child support for the children she shares with him. According to court documents obtained by the U.S. Sun, Standifer is seeking retroactive child support from her soon-to-be-ex, and she claims the troubled reality TV star earns a massive paycheck each month, none of which goes towards supporting his children.

According to the court documents, Standifer believes Edwards earns more than $18,000 monthly, including his pay from Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. Standifer, in contrast, reports that she earns just $3,000 per month. She claims she has been footing the bill for the needs of the two children she shares with Edwards since their separation in February 2023. The documents also note that they have been in her care every day since the split more than 18 months ago.

Standifer also has a third child from a previous marriage. He is, obviously, not included in the support request. Edwards is the father of a teen son from his previous relationship with Maci Bookout. It is unclear if he currently pays child support for the teen.

Recently, Standifer suggested Edwards has a secret child that his parents have been quietly paying for for over a decade. No concrete evidence of the additional child has been made public, though.

Edwards has not responded to the request yet

While Mackenzie Standifer is interested in moving her divorce process along, Edwards seems content with taking his time despite appearing entirely ready to move on. A source who spoke with the U.S. Sun claims Edwards is holding up the divorce process.

Despite not being divorced yet, Edwards’ life is moving quickly. The father of three (possibly four) is prepping for another foray into fatherhood. Amanda Conner, the woman Edwards began seeing during his 2023 rehab stint, is currently pregnant. The couple are expecting a girl. They are also reportedly engaged despite Edwards’ slow-moving divorce process.
