Madison LeCroy just gave fans a health update on her baby girl Teddi Randle!
The “Southern Charm” star took to her Instagram story Monday, July 7, to fill everyone in.
“She’s still in the NICU and we’re still here with her, but she’s doing great,” LeCroy wrote. “Taking her bottles, gaining weight, and right on track for where she should be. Our little preemie angel is getting stronger every day we can’t wait to bring her home.”
In addition to the update, she shared an adorable picture of her 12-year-old son Hudson holding his new sister.
She shares Hudson with her ex-husband.
LeCroy Welcomed Teddi Over a Month Early
LeCroy and her husband, Brett Randle, welcomed Teddi on June 29, but didn’t announce the arrival until July 3. She underwent a C-section when she was 34 weeks pregnant.
When she announced her pregnancy in February, she revealed her due date was in August.
“Due month is first week of August, but scheduled last week of July,” she said in an Amazon Q&A. “So, July will be the month if everything goes as planned. So it could be either or.”
She detailed the arrival while speaking with Us Weekly.
“I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,” she told the outlet.
She added the doctors tried to hold off as long as possible because she was so early.
“We kind of prolonged the labor and Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section and there she was five minutes later,” LeCroy told the outlet.
She Already Wants Baby No. 3
Prior to giving birth, she discussed expanding her family with her husband in a live broadcast on Amazon.
“Right now, I would say yes,” LeCroy said at the time. “But let’s see in three or four months what I think. But, yeah, so far. I mean, I feel like my husband deserves a boy, but I have a feeling it could be another girl.”
If LeCroy does have another child, she doesn’t have to worry about her oldest son, as he loves being a big brother.
The 34-year-old gushed about him to the New York Post.
“Honestly, at first I was a little worried he was going to be jealous,” LeCroy told the outlet. “But, of course, he’s just taken on the role where he’s almost a little bit more protective than me already. So I am happy to see it.”
